's son Weston Coppola Cage was seen Monday showing up for a hearing and mental health check-in with a downtown  court.

The outing was linked to ongoing criminal proceedings stemming from the 35-year-old musician's alleged attack on his mother, actress Christina Fulton, 58, nearly two years ago outside of her Southern  apartment.

Weston continues to deal with the fallout of the case stemming from the violent April 28, 2024 incident involving Fulton, who was also on hand at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center.

Weston in April of 2025 worked out a deal with the court as he was ordered to enter a mental health diversion program for two years in connection with a pair of felony assault charges he faced in connection with the attack.

Los Angeles County Judge Enrique Monguia said last year that Weston's skewed state of mind, during the time of the incident with his mother, led him to offer the diversion program as an alternative.

Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for both Nicolas and Weston for further comment on the story.

She told the court, according to Rolling Stone, that Weston, in attacking her, was 'crushing and 'suffocating' while jamming his thumb in her eye socket.

'The pain was excruciating,' Fulton told the court. 'My vision went black. I was losing consciousness.'

Fulton said that one of Weston's friends 'risked his life to save' her by pulling him off her during the incident.

'My family would have buried me and Weston would have gone to prison' if his friend didn't intervene, Fulton told the court.

Fulton added that she remained in fear of her son because he'd failed to display any 'remorse or accountability' over the incident.

'I’ve been demonized for being a good mother,' Fulton said. 'Now I stand here, pleading for one thing: that he gets the help he deserves. Please help my son.'

Weston spoke with Daily Mail in Las Vegas last summer about the incident, and lessons he gleaned in its aftermath.

'You know, it's strengthened me - I can only give radical forgiveness,' the son of the Leaving Las Vegas Oscar-winner said.

Weston, asked if he wanted to clarify any specific aspect of his statement in line with the events that preceded them, replied, 'Oh I will, quite a bit.'
