Vogue Williams has revealed she broke dry January while attending a children’s birthday party this month, and never told her husband Spencer Matthews.
The Irish model, 39, and the former Made In Chelsea star, 36, who tied the knot in 2018, recently announced that they were embarking on solo business projects after launching their successful podcast Spencer & Vogue more than four years ago.
However, as she embarked on her latest career venture, it seems Vogue couldn’t resist a little celebration as she admitted to enjoying free-flowing champagne at a party, despite the fact she and her husband had both agreed to do dry January.
During the latest episode of the new podcast Vogue & Amber, the TV presenter’s sister seemingly outed her sibling for breaking dry January.
Amber cheekily asked her sister Vogue: ‘My week has been tame because, unlike some people, I’m still adhering to January that’s dry. How’s yours going Vogue?’
Vogue responded: ‘Well Amber, kind of you to ask. Actually, I found myself in a situation that was difficult to navigate, I went to a child’s birthday party in The Dorchester.’

Shocked that someone hosted a child’s birthday party at a five-star hotel in Mayfair, Amber quizzed: ‘Someone had their child’s birthday party in The Dorchester?’ as Vogue admitted they were serving Veuve champagne.
She said: ‘They were serving Veuve champagne! And my mother I thought, “What would Sandra do in this situation?”.’
Amber cheekily quipped: ‘She’d let those bubbles tickle her nose that’s what she’d do.’
Admitting she couldn’t say no to a glass of bubbly, Vogue confessed: ‘Of course she would! I couldn’t say no to it, like free Veuve, I was like “I’ll have that!” And then I had four maybe five.’
‘It wasn’t a short amount of champagne, it was flowing! It was a great party; it was actually a great party even before I had the champagne. Well done to the parents!’
Amber proceeded to praise herself saying: ‘Well done to me for sticking with dry January!’ as her sister cheekily responded with: ‘Oh, we’ll see my friend!’
Vogue added: ‘You know what I don’t count that. Firstly, because it was champagne, if it was prosecco I wouldn’t have done it.’
‘Second of all, I went home and had a cup of decaf tea. And Spencer doesn’t even know I broke dry January, I didn’t lie I just didn’t tell him.’
However, as she embarked on her latest career venture, it seems Vogue couldn’t resist a little celebration as she admitted to her sister: ‘Spencer doesn’t even know I broke dry January, I didn’t lie I just didn’t tell him’ (both pictured last year)
While Spencer has been open about his struggle with alcohol over the years, Vogue previously admitted she has a love/hate relationship with it and doesn’t drink very often as she doesn’t like the taste.
She labelled herself a ‘binge drinker’ in the past as she explained: ‘I’m a binge drinker because I don’t really like the taste of alcohol, so if you see me drinking alcohol I’m drinking it for one reason, and that’s to get drunk.’
Meanwhile, Spencer previously admitted he ‘could have died’ at the height of his drinking when he would consume up to 10 pints of beer a day, and has credited Vogue with helping him to ‘break the habit’.
Speaking to Vogue on the Taboo Talk podcast, he said: ‘It’s not like I just fancied giving up drinking.’
‘I could have lost you, I could have lost work, I could have died – not to be overly dramatic about it, but that’s the way it was heading.’
The star admitted he would sometimes go to bed intoxicated, and believes his journey to stop excessive drinking would’ve been ‘more difficult’ if he didn’t have Vogue.
He said: ‘One night, when I was alone, I had a bottle of whiskey and struggled to get myself to bed. I was hammered drunk. I remember waking up the next day and thought “I don’t need this in my life”.
‘If I wasn’t married to someone who didn’t have a great relationship with alcohol, as in you don’t really like it, then my journey would have been more difficult.’
Vogue’s podcast returned earlier this month under the rebranded name Vogue & Amber after Spencer revealed he was planning to leave the podcast to focus on other projects and an upcoming ‘adventure’.
He said: ‘I’m moving on from this podcast to pursue other business interests and focus on my upcoming challenge. I’ve loved doing this show and it would never have been as popular as it would be without the listeners.’

‘I’ll miss the show enormously and Vogue, I’ll miss working with you in this capacity but I will be replaced by somebody of equal or superior charisma, much funnier, very happy to talk about gossip, but we both love her very much and she’s an epic member of our family and she’ll do an incredible job!’
The married couple launched their podcast more than four years ago and have had huge success with the show and even taken it on the road for a live tour.
Vogue said: ‘I’ll obviously be sad to see you go, but I see you all day every day, so I’ll be sad to see you go, but I won’t miss you, because I’ll see you at home! Spencer & Vogue will continue and we will keep it in the family!’
Following his exit from the podcast, Spencer shared a huge update on his own career on Tuesday.
The former Made In Chelsea star revealed he has ‘had a moment of clear realisation’ during his 30 desert marathons in 30 days last year causing him to move in a different direction with work.
Spencer told fans it’s ‘never too late to change your habits’ as he revealed he has been working on creating a new podcast for ‘four months’.
He said: ‘After four months of development and recording, I’m delighted to finally announce my next move in podcasting…
‘Moving on from “Spencer & Vogue”, “Big Fish”, and “6 Degrees” was a big decision and I am truly grateful for the time you have spent listening over the last five years or so. Without you, they would not have been a success. Thank you.
‘Running through the Jordanian desert several months ago was a transformative and meaningful time in my life, during which, I had a moment of clear realisation. I want to change the nature of the content that I create to include more of my interests and passions and make a shift into a space that is more reflective of who I am today.’
Spencer introduced his new podcast however, he revealed he will only appear in one episode.
He continued: ‘Welcome to UNTAPPED by High Performance. A brand new podcast being produced by the incredible team at High Performance.
‘I would love you to join me in this fresh new chapter which promises to be fun, uplifting, motivational and even inspirational at times as we learn from the greatest athletes, scientists, and thinkers in the world to truly discover what potential we all have within us.
‘Our aim is to build a community so that we can all share and be inspired by one another – where we challenge ourselves and help each other to achieve incredible things.
‘Our first episode will launch this Monday, January 27th and at this time will be my only podcast. You will also be able to watch full visual episodes every week on YouTube.

Spencer continued to discuss the ‘new and exciting direction’ of the podcast in the Instagram caption, adding he is ‘proud’ and ‘learning something new’ by creating it.
