Comedian and writer Joanne, 43, is due to appear as part of the cast of the second series of the spin-off show, which is packed with famous faces.

As she appeared alongside Vogue, 40, on their podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me, she confirmed filming was already finished as fans eagerly await news of its release - as she resumed her appearance on the podcast after some time out to film.

In a clip of the podcast posted to Instagram, the TV star could be heard complaining: 'Joanne's back. She's playing by the rules and she won't tell me anything!

'I am keeping that in mind, by the way, because I've told you everything and you're not - nothing. You're not telling me anything!'

Joanne hit back, sitting at home in a tracksuit and sunglasses: 'Yes, that is fair, but I've decided for once in my life to take an NDA seriously.'

Vogue pressed, referencing a series of photos taken of the cast at the infamous Ardross Castle: 'When the pictures came out, everyone was like, why are you posting these? It's a TV show, we all want to actually watch it.'

Joanne explained, hinting they might reveal who goes out of the show early: 'Yes, I know, because if you figure out actually who is in when then you can kind of decode what's happening, but for once in my life, I'm keeping the information to myself.'

Much to Vogue's disappointment, Joanne explained that she was keeping all the details quiet - including from her own family.

'I've told nobody,' she went on. 'I wouldn't tell Vogue, I wouldn't tell anyone anything. My mother of course wanted to know and was deeply offended.'

Pretending to be furious at the response, Vogue added sarcastically: 'Well, thrilled you're back. Great. Yeah. Fab.'

Earlier this month, the line up for the second series of Celebrity Traitors was confirmed, with Richard E. Grant, Miranda Hart, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Joe Lycett among the stars entering the castle.

The BBC revealed how a total of 21 presenters, comedians, actors and musicians will try their hand at being Traitors and Faithful in the series, which is due in the autumn.

The full line-up features journalist and broadcaster Amol Rajan, The Last of Us actress Bella Ramsey, comedian James Acaster and singer James Blunt.

American model Jerry Hall, comedians Joanne and Joe Lycett, Mr Bates vs The Post Office star Julie Hesmondhalgh and YouTuber King Kenny will also feature.

Love Island host Maya Jama, actor Michael Sheen, Miranda star Miranda Hart, actress Myha'la, mathematician Hannah Fry and Academy Award winner Richard E Grant are also due to take part.

The line-up is completed by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, EastEnders' Ross Kemp, Heartstopper actor Sebastian Croft and Scottish actor Sharon Rooney.

Filming got underway earlier this month, after show host Claudia Winkleman revealed that the line-up had been secured, leaving her 'gobsmacked'.

The BBC's star-studded spinoff first aired in late 2025, with comedian Alan Carr winning as a Traitor.

In late March, Claudia appeared on The One Show to promote her newly launched BBC chat show The Claudia Winkleman Show.

She was asked whether more 'big dogs' were set for Celebrity Traitors, following the big names from series one.

Claudia replied: 'There certainly are. The people who make it are extraordinary and they had to repeat the people twice to me because I was like, ‘Huh, are you joking? Come again.' So, we’re incredibly lucky.'

During the conversation, Claudia addressed whether famous faces were lining up to enter the castle - after the success of the first Celebrity Traitors.

She said: 'Yeah, I hope so. We’re so grateful that people want to come and play the game.

'And the people who said yes for series one, I still can’t believe it. I was shaking when you see Stephen Fry walking around the castle and Alan Carr, Ruth Codd, all of these people I was obsessed by.

'I’m very excited. But I can’t say anything else, don’t make eye contact with me.'

Celebrity Traitors series one is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
