Season 2 of an ‘infuriating,’ blood-boiling true crime documentary on Netflix has left streamers horrified.

X (formerly Twitter) users have slammed parts of the second season of the docuseries Worst Roommate Ever ever since its June 26 release.

The true crime documentary features new horrified renters sharing their horror stories about their former roommates.

‘Every single episode of worst roommate ever is an absolute nightmare,’ an X user tweeted on June 30.

However, one episode X users have seemingly not gotten over was the first one of Season 2, which told the story of a friendship that took a poisonous turn.

Episodes of Worst Roommate Ever tell different roommate horror stories, one of which is about a housemate-turned-felon, Janie Ridd.

Ridd and Rachel became roommates after having been close friends for more than 20 years.

Ridd became jealous of her close friend but stepped up to the plate after Rachel gave birth to her son, Ryder, in 2010.

However, Ridd made it her sole mission to care for the young boy.

The soon-to-be felon later purchased a strain of staph bacteria called VRSA from the dark web in 2019 after her attempt to gain sole custody of Ryder failed.

She used the strain to poison Rachel, and after being charged with aggravated abuse of a vulnerable adult, attempted aggravated abuse of a vulnerable adult, and attempted acquisition of a biological weapon, she spent only 25 months in prison.

Ridd hinted her desire to still have custody of Ryder in a phone call aired in the documentary from Salt Lake County Jail.

Several X users have expressed their anger toward Ridd’s punishment, as many believed it to be too lenient.

‘How the f*** was she granted parole when there is a recording of her from jail very clearly stating that she would attempt to take away her child when she’s out,’ an X user tweeted this morning.

Other X users who were angry with the events instead partially blamed Rachel for what happened, and one person even called her an ‘idiot.’

‘I’m not one to victim blame but watching Worst Roommate Ever on Netflix, and this woman is honestly real naive,’ a person wrote on June 29.

Social media users have also flooded social media platforms with comments praising the latest season of Worst Roommate Ever.

‘The show is very well done. I like the concept of using animation for reenactment of events, which is better than some people that kinda sorta look like the subjects,’ a user on Rotten Tomatoes wrote.

An X user tweeted: ‘This show is good if you like true crime. It makes me so thankful I live alone.’

Besides the stressful stories Netflix viewers get to listen to, some have gotten their own roommate horror stories, ranging from minor issues to psychotic tendencies.

‘The new Netflix show reminds me of the worst roommate I ever had, although it wasn’t even his fault directly,’ an X user tweeted.

‘His girlfriend just sounded like a dying goat whenever they had sex in our cardboard-walled four-bedroom apartment, and they had sex a lot.’

Another X user who watched the documentary revealed that she was ‘obsessed with it’ and that she had an interesting roommate tale of her own.

‘I got a doozy of a story from the one time I had a roommate. She tried to kill my cat. For real,’ the X user tweeted.

One person wrote: ‘Watching Worst Roommate Ever on Netflix and I’m so thankful the worst thing I ever had to deal with was my roommate leaving dishes in the sink and eating my cereal back in the day.’

‘Worst Roommate Ever S2E1 is making me so mad,’ another wrote.
