Danielle became the fifth campmate to be eliminated from the Australian jungle in Thursday’s episode.
The actress, 31, left the camp after losing out to Tony in the public vote after they came in the bottom two in the latest elimination.
Nick Pickard, Fred Sirieix, Nella Rose and Frankie Dettori were all previously voted out, with just five celebrities remaining ahead of Sunday’s much-anticipated final.
All of the eliminated celebrities so far have backed Sam Thompson to win the 2023 series, and Danielle joined them in urging viewers to vote for him in the coming days.
Speaking to Ant and Dec after her elimination, Danielle said: ‘Sam, please vote for Sam… he’s such a trooper, he’s such a great guy.’

‘I thought [his energy] was brilliant, I’m egging it on. You need someone down there with energy constant, when you dip, you need someone to bring you back up, and that’s Sam.’
Danielle has become the fifth star to back Sam to win the 2023 series after actor Nick also shared his hopes for his victory after his own exit on Wednesday.
He said: ‘[Sam] deserves it, well they all deserve it, but he does and I think he really wants to win… Sam’s the lifeblood in there, it wouldn’t be the same without him, he’s got so much energy.’
Frankie Dettori was the first campmate to be eliminated in the public vote and admitted he thinks Sam will take home the top prize this year.
He said: ‘My bet would be Sam. He brings a lot to the table, he’s entertaining, he is silly, he sings, he is happy and I think what people is going to like about him is all of that. That … to me is the winner.’
Nella Rose was the next star to be voted out of the jungle, and she too said: ‘I think Sam should be King of the Jungle, he has wanted to do this since he was a kid.’
Fred Sirieix left camp on Tuesday after the third public vote and once again bet on Sam to make it all the way in this year’s series.
Danielle’s exit leaves Josie Gibson as the final female campmate left in the jungle, and the TV star gushed over her pal while chatting to Ant and Dec.
‘My Josie, I’m rooting for her so much, she’s so much stronger than she thinks… she’s got this, I know she has,’ she said after her own elimination from the jungle.
Danielle also waded into Josie and Fred Sirieix’s clashes over the This Morning host’s cooking skills as she showed her support for her friend.
Fred clashed with Josie as he hit out at her cooking skills while struggling to let go of his former camp chef role in a move which saw viewers brand him as ‘controlling’.
When asked by Ant and Dec whose cooking she preferred, Danielle said: ‘I’m going to go with Josie, I love Fred, but I like a bit of the home cooking from Josie.’
Despite the drama, the TV star, best known for playing Lola Pearce on EastEnders, insisted she got on with everyone in camp, even controversial politician Nigel Farage.

‘I’m so glad this year was my year… even Mr Farage, they were such a good group of people and we’re friends for life,’ she admitted.
Following her exit, Danielle walked across the iconic bridge and became completely overwhelmed with emotion as she cried when she saw her mother Lisa Marie Carter waiting for her.
The pair shared a very tearful hug as they reunited after weeks apart and tearfully smiled for the cameras upon their sweet meeting.
Her elimination comes just one day after fans were left shocked by Nick’s elimination as they gushed over the ‘lovely’ star.
