Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz may be known for being cheating reality television stars but they don’t want their fans going down the same path.
Sandoval, 40, and Schwartz, 41, both issued a public service announcement (PSA) on the former’s podcast Everybody Loves Tom to not choose infidelity despite them famously doing so as documented by their Bravo series which led to one of the biggest celebrity scandals of 2023.
Schwartz began the conversation as he said: ‘You should give a PSA right now. If you’re unhappy in your relationship [or] if you feel lost or have experienced feelings for a coworker and it’s starting to escalate, don’t do it.
‘Don’t do it. Just sit down and have that very uncomfortable conversation with your partner. Go to therapy, or just say it’s over. Don’t have a f***ing affair!’
Earlier this year, Sandoval was involved in a cheating scandal so big that it was given a nickname, Scandoval, after bedding fellow castmate Rachel Leviss while in a relationship with Ariana Madix for over nine years.

He chimed in: ‘One thing that really kept me hanging on was the insecurity I had in myself. I felt like. “Oh, my gosh, I can’t lose this other person because I’ll never get this.”
‘I had such an insecurity with myself that I felt if I let this go, it will never happen again You can [find that again]. And banking on that is a much safer bet than staying and doing and living in that.’
Sandoval went on to say that he was in a low place and lacked self-confidence when the 29-year-old reality star gave him attention and he was drawn to that.
He explained: ‘I was in a position where I had such low self-confidence and had such low self worth in that aspect and that aspect that when like the whole Rachel thing happened, you know, I had a hard time.’
Sandoval said that he was her biggest cheerleader and fan ‘but here she is this beautiful girl and she’s coming on to me. And like, I don’t deserve this.’
His co-host Jason Bader chimed in saying that he believes that Sandoval knew he was caught in something ‘not right’ and his mind just kept being filled with other bad things.
Sandoval responded: ‘Yeah and then you become an addict, you cling onto that feeling that you had when you are with that person that you start to like hide from the reality of the rest of your life. And you just like become lost in that.
‘Dude, I look back on that now and I’m like, “Holy s***.” And Schwartz and other people around me, they saw me and I was f***ing fixated and barely present.’

Schwartz added that he was a ‘background character’ in Sandoval’s life at that point in time.
Sandoval was caught up in the media frenzy in March when it emerged Tom Sandoval had cheated on his girlfriend of nine years Ariana Madix with their co-star Raquel Leviss now Rachel.
The couple had been together for nine years and owned a home in Los Angeles together, but that all came crashing down after Tom engaged in an affair with their mutual friend – who changed her name back to Rachel after the scandal.
Tom became an instant hate figure and had to hide out from the public after being ‘shunned by the entire country’, even having to keep his friends and family at a distance due to the abuse they were starting to receive online.
Although he still stars on the show, Rachel quit the Bravo TV series after completing a stint in a mental health facility.
Tom has since confirmed he’s no longer in contact with Rachel, claiming she cast him aside when the scandal came to light.
He explained: ‘We were best friends. It’s heartbreaking to go through. I was fully in love with her. She’s not just some hot girl. I was a model for 15 years — it’s deeper than that.
‘The way she just shooed me away… I don’t know, I’m not in her head.’

Schwartz is also no stranger to cheating as he hooked up with a woman in 2017 while still married to Katie Maloney.
The drama played out on a Vanderpump Rules episode which aired in January 2018 as Katie was left a crying mess when fellow castmate Lala Kent let slip that Schwartz had made out with one of her friends, Allie, during a night out at the beginning of 2017.
‘Bubba, I have no recollection of this,’ Schwartz told Maloney when she heard the news.
‘That doesn’t mean anything,’ she screamed.
