During Wednesday night's episode, which marked the end of Revelations Week, Gia confronted Scott over his past views on fatherhood after opening up about having a child.
Scott admitted he 'could have gone the other way' when learning about her situation but insisted he had chosen to embrace it.
'I could have gone the other way going, no, I don't like this, but I've accepted it,' he told her.
'If I didn't accept it, I would tell you and I wouldn't even bother trying. I wouldn't feel as affectionate. I wouldn't feel this way. So obviously I genuinely like you. Having a child does not bother me. It used to, but I'll tell you what, it does not bother me.'

'I just want a good, healthy relationship where we communicate and we like each other so much we walk out the experiment holding hands and we're together,' she said.
After an emotional discussion, the couple managed to overcome their first major hurdle and emerged feeling united once more, sharing a kiss and reaffirming their connection.
'It scares me, 'cause I'm like, why am I so worried about what he thinks? Well, because I like him,' Gia confessed.
The pair have previously insisted they were one of the strongest couples in the experiment, telling friends and fellow cast members they felt solid compared to the chaos unfolding around them.
Scott has repeatedly pointed to their communication as their biggest strength, saying they had 'answered everything' and weren't afraid to tackle the hard questions head-on.

Gia echoed that sentiment, explaining that while the experiment fast-tracked difficult conversations, it ultimately made them stronger.
