The influencer, 43, announced earlier this week that John, 64, had passed away following a battle with adrenal cancer, revealing he died while holding her hand.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Lorna opened up about her heartbreak in a deeply moving post.
Sharing a snap of the couple kissing, she wrote: 'Day 3 of no John and it's been the hardest.
'I read a quote today that said, 'To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides,' and I think I got to experience that.'

She added that she would be stepping back from social media for a while, telling followers: 'I'm going to be a bit quiet on here, but I'm reading your messages and I'm seeing your comments and I appreciate them very much.'

It comes after Lorna shared a never-before-seen clip of her and late husband John at their 'favourite place' as she paid him another emotional tribute after he passed away.
The influencer took to her Instagram stories on Friday, with the video capturing John, enjoying a delicious plate of cacio and pepe spaghetti in a lavish restaurant.

Lorna recalled the moment fondly as she captioned: 'Cecconi's Mayfair is our place...
'I never shared this vid I'm not sure why, but John and cacio and pepe.'
John, who was 21 years Lorna's senior, battled stage four adrenal cancer after being diagnosed in April 2023. The couple had been married for 16 years.
The influencer revealed to her 1.6million followers last month that John's cancer had spread and treatment was 'no longer an option'.
Announcing his passing on Instagram, she wrote: 'My beautiful, brave John died yesterday. I am heartbroken.

'We were together to the very end, at home, in our own bed and holding hands which is exactly what he wanted.

'The last conversation we had I asked him how he was feeling and he replied “rough but in love” and that was so him, to the point and choosing to put aside his fears to make me feel cherished and loved.
'John and I were so grateful to the district nurses who came daily to support us and make him comfortable.
'Anna was his favourite nurse and the kindness she showed him was beyond, she was a real-life angel.
'We couldn’t have had those last few days together at home without that care and my mum who has been with us keeping me strong when I needed to stay strong for John.
'John you are a class act and I will love you forever.'

The couple had kept followers updated throughout his treatment, after she said they were there for her when John went into remission in November 2023.
But in a tragic turn of events, the former banker's cancer returned in May 2024 and spread to his brain.
A sweet tribute came from Sophie Hinchliffe, known as Mrs Hinch, who told Lorna that 'millions of us are here to help hold you up'.
In the comments, she wrote: 'Lorna I am so, so sorry. My heart truly dropped reading this. I’ve followed your page for such a long time, and the love you and John share has always been so inspiring and it always will be. No one can ever take away your memories, your love, or those quiet one-on-one conversations you’ll carry with you forever. Those are yours. Yours and John’s. Always. Sending you so much love, Lorna. Millions of us are here to help hold you up.✨ xxx'
Molly-Mae Hague was also among those who sent messages of support following the sad announcement, writing: 'Heartbroken for you. Rest in peace John. I am so beyond sorry for your loss.'
