Unlucky-in-love has said you should throw a party every time you break up with someone in the wake of her divorce.

Speaking on a June 30 episode of Subway Takes, the singer and actress, 56, said: 'Breakups are not a failure. I honestly feel like it’s a launchpad into your next best self. 

'We should have a party when we break up. People should say, "You broke up? Congratulations," because one, you made a decision. Two, it was probably the best thing for everybody.'

Clearly feeling optimistic about where she is in life, Jennifer said: 'If you're the one who's being heartbroken, you're the winner. 

'Because if you go around your life and you're breaking hearts, let's say, you're a loser. I've been on both sides. We all do that. But if you're that person, you're never learning anything.'

Office Romance star Jennifer has been married four times.  

She was married to her longtime love Ben Affleck for two years before she filed for divorce in August 2024.

They first got engaged in November 2002, but postponed their wedding four days before the big day, citing 'excessive media attention' as the reason. 

They officially broke up in January 2004 before reconnecting one more ill-fated time two decades later. 

The actress' longest marriage was with Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014. During that time, they welcomed twins Max and Oskar, age 18. 

She married backup dancer Cris Judd in 2001, but had filed for divorce by July 2002 and before that, she was married to model-waiter Ojani Noa from 1997–1998.

There have also been high-profile romances with the likes of Alex Rodriguez, Casper Smart and the now imprisoned P Diddy. 

During her latest interview, Jennifer said: 'I just feel like the biggest growth spurts I’ve had emotionally, mentally, psychologically have always come from a heartbreak.

'And that’s not just in romantic relationships, that’s in work heartbreaks, all of it.

'It’s the only time you dig. You’re like, "What the f*** happened? How do I do this? Why do I keep doing this? Or why didn’t that happen? What could I have done better?'" You change yourself completely.'

And talking about her type she said: 'I don't discriminate. I like skinny guys. I like a chunk around the middle. I like beards, I like clean shaven, it doesn't matter. It's the person inside.'
