'Being careful who and what I post. It was a beautiful and amazing wedding, full of joy, love, laughter and friendship.'

Tom is yet to share any photos himself from the wedding, but did happily update fans when he got engaged to his longterm girlfriend Kara in May 2024.

The actor shared photos of a beaming Kara showing off her stunning engagement ring as he gushed: What an amazing weekend with the perfect ending ✨ Thank you @karamilner for making me the luckiest man. ♥️'

Over five seasons, which aired between 2015 and 2019, it set pulses racing with its love triangles, bedroom romps and upstairs-downstairs affairs.

The series adapted the first seven of the twelve novels, which were previously adapted by the 1975–1977 BBC television series.

For the final season Horsfield, who had written the series since its premiere, diverged from the books for the first time to pen her own chapter of the saga, set nine years before the events of the eighth novel.

The final series was criticised by some for its 'jumpy approach to time and ludicrous storylines' but many fans called for more episodes.

There is more source material in Graham's unadapted novels and Aidan Turner, who played the title character and now stars in the hit Disney Plus show Rivals, has said that whilst he is unlikely to return to a lead role a future reboot could focus on the next generation of Poldarks.

'There are some books... I need to check what books they are. I think Ross is quite a bit older,' he told the Radio Times in 2022.

'I think Jeremy, Ross's son, he's 16 or 18 or something. And I think when we left Ross, I think Jeremy might only be 10. I'm not quite sure.'
