Tom Hollands Mom Backs Zendaya Amid Romance Rumors

's mother Nikki has liked a post praising his 'wife' , for not 'acting like she's in love with a co-star to promote a film'. 

Zendaya, 29, who reportedly wed Tom earlier this year, is currently blazing the promo trail with , 39, to plug their new movie The Drama, during which they have been putting on playful red carpet displays. 

In a post shared on a Zendaya fan account, a montage showed her co-stars and promoting movies last year, during which they sparked romance rumours with and respectively. 

A caption of the video read: ‘Everyone is acting a little too single while promoting their romance movies, meanwhile Zendaya & Robert proving you can still vibe without disrespecting your partner’ She loves her daughter in-law. She’s so real for that'. 

Sydney and Glen were reported to have dated after starring in 2023's Anyone But You, while Jacob put on steamy displays with married Margot while promoting Wuthering Heights last year - both of which were said to be put on for promo. 

Nikki appeared to throw her support behind her 'daughter-in-law' with the post, which made reference to her playful relationship with Robert. 

She was seen giving Robert a high-five while sharing a giggle at the Paris premiere of the film last month - in stark contrast to other actors' behaviour. 

The video then shot to the clip of Jacob and Margot gazing at one another at the LA world premiere of Wuthering Heights in January, in the midst of widespread discussion about their on and off screen chemistry. 

Sydney and Glen also featured in the video during their promo trail. They have consistently maintained that their relationship is platonic, attributing intense romance rumours to a deliberate marketing strategy for their romantic comedy.

Zendaya has been open in her gushing professions of love for Tom, and she revealed last year that she decided to get her tattoo after realising Tom, also 29, was the right person for her - and that's because she brings a sense of calm to her life.

She said: 'I think sometimes, at least in my personal experience, I found that sometimes people can get nervous around people, but there's a certain feeling that I was able to experience when I knew that this is my person, because I didn't... 

'I don't feel nervous, I feel really peaceful and I feel really calm. And feel like, 'Oh, I actually feel more nervous when I'm away from you than when I'm with you...

'And that's when I was like, 'Ah, that's a good sign, that's me listening to intuition.'

Marriage speculation has been rife after her stylist kicked off the rumours when he made a cheeky statement at the beginning of March suggesting that his longtime client and close friend was already married to Spider-Man star Tom.

Law Roach dropped the bombshell as he told Access Hollywood: 'The wedding has already happened. You missed it.'

When asked if it was 'true,' he replied: 'It's very true!'

His comment, which was amid the lead-up to the premiere of her movie centered around a wedding, led many fans to also speculate that the engaged actress could have secretly tied the knot already.

Despite the marriage speculation, the couple have not yet publicly confirmed or denied their marital status.

The pair met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, and kept their romance private for years before confirming they were in a relationship - and later revealing they had gotten engaged.

Although Zendaya hasn't commented directly on the claims she has been keen to play into them on the press tour for her new movie The Drama.

She recently dropped the biggest hint yet that she's tied the knot when she and co-star Robert were asked by Views France about what makes the perfect marriage.

Zendaya replied: 'I don't know if there's any such thing as a perfect marriage, but I'd say like people who, and this is a corny answer, but seem like best friends. 

'I think it's always nice to see two people that, I don't know, really like each other as well as love each other.'

Robert had nothing to add, simply telling Zendaya: 'That was a nice answer.'

Last week, Zendaya joined Sydney and Jacob on the red carpet at the premiere of the new series of Euphoria however tensions appeared to simmer between the women, who are said to have fallen out over Sydney flirting with Tom.
