The Today show hosts found themselves in a heated debate about pyjamas on Tuesday, resulting in two of the hosts leaving the set.
A discussion between Christine Ahern, Jayne Azzopardi, and Clint Stanaway was sparked by a US doctor’s revelation that one should wash their pyjamas after every three wears.
‘That sounds about right,’ Jayne said. ‘Sometimes my children, I have to change them more frequently because you get a bit of Weet-Bix on the pyjamas at breakfast.’
Clint asked Christine and she confessed to washing hers once a week.
But when Clint’s turn came to reveal his own washing schedule, he simply said ‘You just… give them a little sniff’, before Jayne immediately replied ‘nup’ and joined Christine in walking off set.

Christine also called Clint ‘terrible’ as she walked away from him.
‘What?!’ Clint responded, throwing his hands up as the cameraman zoomed in on him.
Social media commenters had varied opinions on the ideal frequency for washing their beloved PJs.
