Timothee Chalamet’s cringe dance moves have resurfaced as he suffered a devastating Oscars 2025 loss to Adrien Brody in the Best Actor category.
A video of the now 29-year-old actor’s rapping and dancing routine at a talent show has recently made the rounds on social media as it featured him moving and grooving to his original song under the name Lil Timmy Tim.
The aspiring showbiz star donned a pink T-Shirt, baggy white sweatpants, pink sneakers, and a black backpack as he moved and grooved next to several background dancers in a video posed by X user @beyoncegarden.
He certainly had the audience on his feet as he rapped: ‘See me in the hallway and you know I hit my dougie / Feel good music, I’m bringing it back / What’s wrong with that kid? Does he think he’s Black?’
Timothee then proudly put his dance moves on display which featured tons of arm movement.
He then went into his second verse rapping: ‘Aye guys, I see y’all on the dancefloor. You don’t know how to act / Try’na steal my swag, but your swag don’t match / Since day zero, Lil’ Timmy Tim I win / Hit my Tim Tebow, hit my Jeremy Lin

Timothee then showcased his showmanship as two dancers puckered up next to him for kisses on the cheek but he kisses them on the lips like his rhyme indicated.
The performance happened at LaGuardia High School in New York City during their 2012 Rising Stars student showcase.
Over the weekend Timothee and girlfriend Kylie Jenner made their Oscars debut as a couple at the 97th annual Academy Awards.
Kylie and Timothée have been an item for almost two years, with rumours of their romance first swirling in April 2023 when her car was parked outside his Beverly Hills home.
The eventually made their first public appearance at Beyoncé’s star-studded birthday concert in September 2023, where videos circulated of them cuddling and kissing in full view of concertgoers.
The couple made their award season debut at the 81st Golden Globes last January.
Timothee was up for Best Actor In A Leading Role for his role in A Complete Unknown, however lost out to Adrien Brody for his portrayal in The Brutalist.

Other nominees in the category included Colman Domingo, Sebastian Stan and Ralph Fiennes.
Adrien – who earned his second Best Actor Oscar of his career – then proceeded to have the longest speech ever in the 97 year history of the Academy Awards as it clocked in at five minutes and 40 seconds in total.
The previous record was held by Greer Garson according to the Guinness World Records as hers was reportedly five minutes and 30 seconds when she won for Mrs. Miniver in 1943.
Adrien was brutally roasted on X (formally Twitter) for the length of his speech.
One user wrote: ‘Adrian Brody acceptance speech more like the brutal list. too many names!’
A Complete Unknown, a biopic about folk singer Bob Dylan, was also nominated for numerous other Oscars, including Best Picture – but failed to pick any up.
Timothee was previously nominated for the same Oscar for the 2017 drama Call Me By Your Name. That trophy went to Gary Oldman for the Darkest Hour.
