Helen Flanagan has shared a candid post about the realities of solo parenting her three children.
The actress and social media star is mum to Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three, with her footballer ex Scott Sinclair, who she co-parents with.
She was keen to post a happy video of herself dancing with her kids ‘as some days are really hard with the kids and I feel like I’m just keeping my head above water and then there is days like this when I actually feel like I’m not doing a bad job.’
The video showed a makeup-free Helen looking incredible in a black crop top as she larked around with her kids, but she admitted that in the past she wouldn’t have posted the clip because of how she sees her body.
‘I used to hate myself when I was younger if I had any kind of over hang with my jeans but it’s so bloody normal,’ she told her one million followers.
Last week Helen hit back against trolls who criticised her for posing in sexy lingerie on Instagram because she is a mother.

The star – who is now in a relationship with new boyfriend Robbie Talbot – took to social media hit back at her trolls who lambasted her racy posts.
Sharing a clip in a black lace bra, knickers and a suspender belt, she revealed she gets a lot of people telling her she is a mum and should not be lingerie modelling.
‘I get a lot of comments on my page saying a long the lines of “your a mum, you shouldn’t be lingerie modelling ect” which I’ve always done…’ she wrote alongside the snaps.
‘As women we should support and empower each other and more importantly be kind to each other as women, as that is what i would teach my daughters and what Suzie says about Sally says more about Suzie that of Sally’.
Helen previously revealed that her former partner Scott, 35, had blocked her despite the pair sharing three children.
The pair broke up in 2022 after thirteen years together, four of which they were engaged. They have three children together.
Speaking openly about the split for the first time last month, Helen said the pair weren’t right for each other.
Speaking on The Mail’s The Life of Bryony podcast, she said: ‘You read so much about how you don’t need a man to make you happy.’

‘No, I don’t need a man to make me happy, but it really f*****g helps when you’re in a healthy relationship to a toxic one.’
Helen said that her relationship with Scott was unhealthy.
‘No disrespect to the father of my children, you know, I’ve had three children with him, and I always have a lot of love for him.’
‘We’re both good people, but together we were very toxic. I think a toxic relationship can just damage your mental health a lot. Especially when you struggle with your mental health anyway.’

‘I mean, I’m on block at the moment on Scott’s phone. I really am. I’m on block.’
‘We do each other’s f*****g head in. But I know he always will have a love for me, you know, you always have kind of a respect for each other, I know he’s not a bad guy, we’ve just got our own s**t going on.’
‘And I think because we’re together from so young, we were just 19, and I just don’t think we had that time to grow until we’ve split up, we just didn’t work.’
