The former Bachelor star extensively documented the incident in a series of Instagram Stories posts this week.
The 43-year-old fitness fanatic was out for one of his daily runs when he noticed that his car was damaged.
A white car parked behind his own had sidled up too close to his bumper, striking his vehicle and leaving what he estimated was $1000 worth of damage.

Tim waited for the driver to return, only to learn the man was an American visitor to Australia who was leaving the country in just a few hours.
The man insisted he would share his details, but left the scene, leading Tim to wait in the rain before calling the police.

'He's an American dude, and he said he's leaving the country in four hours. I said, "I still need your details, as there is a bit of damage to the back of my car",' Tim explained in one of several videos on the situation.
'And he's like, "Oh okay. Maybe someone pushed me" and I'm like, "No one's pushed you. Your car has rolled down the hill into my car".
'He said give me a sec, and he'd come straight back. I've been waiting and it's been raining.'
He continued: 'I've been standing in the rain and the p***k just left me here for an hour and he's just trying to do a runner... I waited around for over an hour and then decided to call the cops.
'The policeman there was very considerate and compassionate to the situation. I've made a report and stuff and I have to go through insurance.'
Tim was angered that the man left him in the lurch, forcing him to now grapple with an insurance claim.
'It's not a lot of damage, but it's the principle. It's still going to cost me a bloody lot of money, and I'm not made of it,' he said.
'It's such a small thing, but just do the right thing! People have no integrity or common good. If you've done the wrong thing, just own up to it okay?'

The pair snapped up the three-bedroom, three-bathroom property in 2021 for a cool $2.5 million, and exclusively told Daily Mail at Derby Day about their decision to move.
'Yes we are selling. We've got a few options, we could stay there, we could go back to , we'll see,' Tim began.
'It's been hard living there with a lack of family around and we have got a lot of work back in Sydney.'
However, Tim remained tight-lipped when asked if they would be permanently relocating to Sydney.
'We are happy to go to Sydney for a little bit, but we will see what happens,' Tim said.
Tim and Anna, 39, met on in 2013 and went on to marry in 2018.
They have two daughters together: Elle, five; and Ruby, two.
