The movie, starring and produced by the Oscar-winning actress, chronicles the romance of high school student Percy Becker (Andrew Barth Feldman).
His parents Allison and Laird are desperate for him to lose his virginity before college, so enlist the help of Maddie Barker, played by Jennifer.
As a result of failure to pay property taxes, Maddie’s car is towed so the 32-year-old then ends up being hired by his parents to date the awkward 19-year-old.
A much-lauded scene from film sees Jennifer appear completely nude on a beach, and Jennifer told Variety how stripping off for the film didn’t faze her.

The scene shows Jennifer’s character Maddie going skinny dipping with Percy, before their clothes are stolen.
A naked Maddie then runs across sand to aggressively reclaim them from a group of pranksters.
She told Variety of the scene: ‘Everyone in my life and my team is doing the right thing and going, “Are you sure? Are you sure? Are you sure?”.
‘I didn’t even have a second thought. It was hilarious to me’.
Her co-star Andrew, 21, added: ‘We became so close instantly that nothing ever felt weird or unsafe. It was entirely professional.’
In the movie, Jennifer stars as Maddie, an Uber driver and bartender who answers a Craigslist ad to help the Becker’s, who are wealthy parents of Percy, an awkward teenager with no experience with girls and being social.
They promise her their Buick Regal in exchange for dating him and the pair then embark on an awkward romance.
The film was a modest hit this summer bringing in $87m at the box office against its $45m budget.
The film earned mixed reviews from critics and the audience due to its crude humour and controversial plot which sees a woman in her 30s openly embrace a relationship with a teenager.

Brian Viner of The Daily Mail gave the film two stars upon release – saying Jennifer couldn’t give the ‘charmless’ film the kiss of life.
He wrote: ‘It’s a romantic comedy so feebly constructed, so lazily written, so devoid of wit and charm, that the ghost of Billy Wilder must be choking on his celestial cigar. Yet it is not without promise.’
‘It stars Jennifer Lawrence, always an engaging presence on screen, although not, as it turns out, quite talented enough to turn water into wine.’
The comedy, rated a 15 in the UK also stars Zahn McClarnon, Matthew Noszka, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, among others.
