A super-hot female traffic controller has shared the shocking things she loves and hates about her high-paying job.

Speaking on KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O show on Friday, a Sydney-based ‘lollipop lady’ named Savanna revealed the best and worst things about the demanding role. 

‘The best thing is probably the pay, for unskilled labour! I drive a BMW,’ she told host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson. 

According to Seek, the median annual salary of traffic controllers in NSW is $76,249, if employed full-time, or around $30 an hour if on a casual basis.

However, if casual employers work overtime their salary can rise to a whopping $100 an hour.

Savanna added despite the decent pay check,  the role had its downsides and explained the worst thing she has to deal with day-to-day is getting heckled and ‘catcalled’ by male drivers and passersby.

‘You just get cat-called daily and get beeped at 24/7!’ she added.

The road worker also revealed a surprising industry secret.

‘We don’t call what we hold a sign, we call it the Stop and Slow Bat.’ 

Savanna added one of the ways she stayed in good shape for her demanding role was by constantly exercising her secret skills.

‘I can hide a litre and a half bottle of Vodka under my big breasts! I take the bottles into festivals and parties, I chuck it under and then boob tape, it’s my little trick!’ 

Last year, an Australian traffic controller exposed the real reason why lollipop ladies are known for being so attractive on the Kyle & Jackie O show.

When quizzed on why lollipop ladies are ‘so hot’, she explained: ‘Because they are less likely to get yelled at by angry guys who are annoyed with the roadwork.’

‘If you’ve got good English, you’re also more likely because they can hear you clearly on the radio. So that, plus being hot, that’s how you get chosen,’ she later added.

The woman also admitted she was concerned about not being attractive enough for the gig, saying: ‘I was trained as [a traffic controller] and I was a little bit worried I would to get hired.’ 

Kyle then questioned whether Jackie would be attractive enough for the role following her recent weight loss. 

‘100 per cent. They’d all be lining up to hire Jackie. No one could get mad, she’s way too beautiful,’ the woman enthused.

‘I get hit on everyday, people call out all types of things from their cars, they’re always whistling and honking their horns,’ Ms Langton said. 

Sometimes drivers even pull over to ask if Ms Langton, 25, is single and if they can have her number.

Ms Langton said she finds humour in the situation and always has a ‘good laugh’ with others at work.

Meanwhile, in 2023, a glamorous female traffic controller revealed the eye-watering amount she earns in just one week while working at a construction site. 

Paris Taylor, 22, shared a TikTok video detailing how she rakes in $680 for nine-and-a-half hours of work on Monday, $580 for eight-and-a-half hours on Tuesday and $780 for 10.5 hours on Wednesday and Thursday.

She wrapped up the week by earning $580 for eight-and-a-half hours of work on Friday.

The blonde bombshell claimed she made a staggering $3,400 for the week, but wrote under the video that not all traffic controllers earn so much.

She explained her extremely high rate is due to an enterprise agreement reached between her union and employer. 

ARE TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS PAID WELL?

Australia’s traffic controllers can earn huge salaries thanks to generous union contracts  

It’s complicated, but usually not as well as you’d think.

The award rate nationally for a traffic controller is $29.79 per hour – but it can be as much as $120 an hour.

The pay rate is better for traffic controllers on union jobs, but that work is harder to find and in short supply.

< p class="mol-para-with-font">Full-time traffic controller roles in Victoria are typically advertised to earn between $50,000 and $70,000 a year.

According Seek.com.au, the median annual salary in NSW for a traffic controller is $76,249.

Across Australia, the most common salary advertised for traffic controllers is between $40,000 and $60,000.
