The stars of The Project tried out TikTok’s most viral trend on Tuesday.

The cast had a go trying out an ageing filter that shows the user how they will look in 2073.

First up was guest panelist Nick Cody, who was pleased with the result.

‘I like how it thinks I will be alive’ he said with a laugh, before adding ‘I’m not sure how it works’ when his hair went white but his beard stayed red.

Next was 42-year-old Hamish Macdonald who was dubious about the process.

‘You’re a vampire!’ his co-hosts laughed as the result was still quite youthful and attractive.

When it was Sarah Harris’ turn, and the 42-year-old explained, ‘I will be 92 years old in 2073.’

The filter was very complementary, with Sarah quipping, ‘I’ve got to up the botox appointments.’

Susie Youssef was troubled by the filter as it developed and said beforehand, ‘I will be the worst one.’

‘Gosh, I hope my partner is not watching’ she joked when she saw the final result.

TikTok’s ageing filter can transport you through time in a matter of seconds and give you a glimpse at an older you.

The hashtag ‘#ageingfilter,’ has over 14 million views as more people hop on the trend and share their results.

What’s more is dermatologists are now calling the filter ‘accurate’ – meaning some users are happy with their results, meanwhile others are dreading the years passing them by.
