The Apprentice viewers were left in stitches after comparing Maura’s wine tour to that infamous Wonka’s experience in Glasgow on Thursday night’s episode.
For week seven, Lord Sugar’s team of hopefuls jetted off to Budapest – marking the first international trip of the series.
The British magnate presented a brand-new challenge which entailed preparing an appealing city tour in one of ‘Europe’s most popular city breaks’.
Contestants tried to build an ‘unforgettable’ experience and then split into groups while selling as many tickets as possible.
Maura and Rachel were appointed project managers for the rival teams, with the yoga instructor opting for a wine tour, while Rachel chose a boat tour.

During a hilarious moment, Maura and Steve had to demonstrate how to ‘suck the thief out’ – a winery practice they had never practiced before, leaving clients lost for words
But despite the efforts, the wine tasting experience turned out to be way tougher than what Maura could have imagined.
Maura took on a lively wine tour with her group of clients, starting with a walk on the wine yard, while explaining a few facts on the origins of Sauvignon Blanc – or at least, attempting to.
‘Can we all just take a moment feel the earth. Breath in that fresh air, breathe out,’ she said leaving some guests bewildered as she also continued doing a ‘Sauvignon Blanc’ chorus.
But a guest was left baffled when asked if the grape’s name was actually Sauvignon Blanc and Maura replied: ‘I’m not sure of the actual name of the grape.’
After taking the group for a walk in the wine yard, Maura and management consultant Steve then tried to give guests an insight into how the wine is made in the canteens.

The thief is a long pipe made of glass, metal or plastic, usually long enough to put halfway into the barrel without losing the tool inside.
The wine thief’s job is to ‘steal’ wine from the barrel to test at different stages in the winemaking process.

Posting the same hilarious picture, another person poked fun: ‘If you told me this was an Apprentice candidate from an experience task I’d 100% believe you. #TheApprentice.’
More fans joked with one remarking the ‘zen’ encouragement the project manager gave while on the wine yard: ‘Me being made to do yoga on a wine tour #TheApprentice.’
‘What type of grape are they using #TheApprentice,’ remarked another with a gif of a clueless puppet shaking its head.
‘Maura shouldn’t have insisted on doing the wine talk #TheApprentice,’ pointed out another fan.
But after the gruelling day, everyone faced their judgement inside Lord Sugar’s boardroom.
Lord Sugar then asked Maura if she ‘knew anything about wine’ and as she replied ‘a small bit’, Karren remarked it saying: ‘A very small bit’.
Rachel’s team ended with a £660 profit with no refund, but were beaten by Maura’s wine tour which made a £1,170 profit with also no refunds – against all odds.
At the end of the episode, Lord Sugar fired music producer Virdi Singh Mazaria, 24.
The business legend, 76, told him: ‘Virdi, you’ve told us that you’re a good salesman and you’re good at selling, but you didn’t sell well enough….It’s very difficult I’m afraid.
‘However, Virdi, seven tasks, seven losses. You are a charming young man, but I think your time in this process is over. It is very regrettable that I have to say to you, that you’re fired.

Lord Sugar said: ‘However, Virdi, seven tasks, seven losses. You are a charming young man, but I think your time in this process is over. It is very regrettable that I have to say to you, that you’re fired’
Virdi replied: ‘Lord Sugar, Karren and Tim thank you very much for the opportunity, I really appreciate it.’
Lord Sugar said: ‘Good luck, stay in touch.’
The winning team was later treated to a lavish dining experience at the Faulty Towers.
