Teddi Mellencamp Dating Mystery Man During Cancer Fight

 has opened up about dating while battling stage 4 in a candid new interview.

Mellencamp, who was first diagnosed with melanoma in 2022 that later metastasized to her lungs and brain, has been pursuing a new romance with a mystery older man.

The star recently went on her 10th date with the man, whose college-aged children still live in his house - months after being spotted getting cozy with her ex-love Ricci Rea.

'We're going to call him Derek,' the 44-year-old alum said on her Two Ts in a Podcast Wednesday.

'But that's the thing when you're dating and you're both parents. Like, how are you ever supposed to get past first base? I have kids in my house. He has kids in his house.'

Mellencamp noted: 'These are the things that I haven't brought up on these dates. I'm taking it slow with him. Normally that hasn't been my past.'
