As thousands flock to see Taylor Swift at Sydney’s Accor Stadium over the weekend, ticketless fans have found a second-best option to pass the time.
Swifties who missed out tickets to her sold-out shows in Melbourne and Sydney are instead scoring tickets for Reputation: The Ultimate Taylor Swift Show Tour, featuring Aussie singer songwriters Ella & Sienna.
The sisters, who appeared on The Voice Australia in 2022, are travelling from Adelaide to Sydney to see Swift in concert this weekend before kicking off their own string of tribute shows for the US pop megastar.
Ella & Sienna promise a 90-minute show that will journey through each of Swift’s 10 ‘eras’, with their first gig at Adelaide Fringe Festival next Thursday, February 29.
They play 20 dates across the country and finish in Cairns on Saturday, June 22.
As thousands flock to see Taylor Swift at Sydney ‘s Accor Stadium over the weekend, several fans have other ideas
‘We’re not a typical tribute act,’ says Ella, 21.
‘We have a full band and do our own twist on the songs. As well as playing all the hits, we take inspiration from her live performances and intros from stadium tours and ceremonies like the Grammys.’
The young ladies are thrilled to be smashing ticket sales, which are selling for only $36.75.
‘Ticket sales are going nuts this week,’ Ella continued.

Ella & Sienna aren’t the only talents who are treating Swifties to alternatives.
Last weekend, Filipino drag queen Taylor Sheesh, 29, took to Melbourne‘s Federation Square, treating thousands of fans who missed out on Eras tour tickets to a 90-minute reenactment.
The drag star has been professionally impersonating the global megastar since 2017 and gave approximated 10,000 people a free lip-sync performance in the city.
Speaking to the ABC, Sheesh revealed she constantly had to rewatch social media videos in order to perfect the recreation of the concert.

‘Even though I’ve watched it already a million times, to memorise and practice her nuances, her smiling, and choreography,’ she said.
Taylor Swift arrived in Australia last week and has already performed three shows in Melbourne from February 16 to 18.
She has a few days off before taking the stage in Sydney from February 23 to February 26.
She is scheduled to perform in Singapore from March 2, giving her just four days off in between shows.
