Taylor Swift continues to surprise her fans, and Saturday’s show in Sydney, Australia was no exception.
After the 34-year-old superstar told the crowd at Accor stadium they were her dream audience, she revealed a big decision she had made about the ‘surprise song’ choices.
The Grammy winner began the practice of performing two acoustic tracks not on her 44-song list she includes in each concert at the beginning of the Eras tour.
Her goal was not to repeat a single song during the tour, but the Hero artist explained to the folks Down Under, it didn’t feel right anymore.
‘That was to challenge me to really get to all the ones that I just don’t naturally gravitate towards, and I feel really proud about having done that,’ US Weekly reported.

‘But this is sort of a public service announcement to everyone who might be anywhere else on the tour, or whatever, or watching this — we have a lot of people, we’re very lucky to have a lot of people watch this on the internet and care about these shows if they’re not here,’ she said.
‘I’ve just been kind of rethinking, and I’ve been thinking I want to be as creative as possible with the acoustic set moving forward and I don’t want to limit anything or say, ‘If I played this song, I can’t play it again.”
Now the Cruel Summer artist wants to use her creativity to make certain changes to any repeat songs.
Swift explained that she wants to play surprise songs ‘more than once if I feel like it’ and to be able to make ‘changes’ to certain tunes.
‘Does that sound OK?’ she asked the crowd of adoring fans who answered with a resounding ‘Yes!’
The hitmaker went on to perform, not one, but two mashups.
The first was Should’ve Said No from her self-titled debut album with You’re Not Sorry from Fearless.
The second was a mix of Peace from Folklore and New Year’s Day from Reputation on the piano.
