Another insider added that out of an abundance of caution ‘there are hundreds of security guards in place to prevent chaos from erupting.’
Concerns for the 12-time Grammy winner and attendees’ safety are also the reason The Grove for the first time in two decades.

To no surprise, the outlet reported that security ‘is already super tight at the mall with barricades and guards all over’ the sprawling outdoor shopping hub.
The massively popular outdoor mall has already began preparations for her arrival, including setting up a massive red carpet surrounding the theater and a step-and-repeat backdrop, featuring the official Eras Tour poster.
The upscale shopping oasis, that includes a large AMC movie theater, will be closed for the entirety of Wednesday to accommodate the high-profile premiere of Taylor’s Eras Tour concert movie.
The pop superstar has already surpassed $100 million in ticket presales for the film, so there will certainly be plenty of fans clamoring to get into the world premiere screening.
Swift has not confirmed whether she will be making a grand entrance to accompany the screenings.
The AMC theater at The Grove will be reportedly devoting all 14 of its screens to showing the musical documentary, and the venue will be hosting 2,200 of the luckiest Swifties on the planet.
According to TMZ, fans received invitations to the premiere via Taylor’s team, though it’s unclear what criteria was used to select or invite them.

The premiere’s red carpet guests will make their way to The Grove at 6 p.m. on Wednesday evening, and the film is slated to start around 7 p.m.
LAPD officers and firefighters will also be in force on Wednesday to ensure that no one sneaks onto the property without a ticket, though they’ll have a large chunk of real estate to patrol.
Although it’s still unclear if Taylor will be in attendance, the sheer amount of forces needed to close down the enormous outdoor mall and to patrol it suggests that the hitmaker might drop by.
Although the AMC theater will be making bank thanks to its sold-out theaters, other smaller business will be missing out on customers after being forced to close for all of Wednesday.
However, Rick Caruso, the mall’s owner, will reportedly be compensating shops for lost business, though it’s unclear how much he’ll be paying and if it varies based on the stores’ regular amount of business.

Making bank: Taylor has already sold $100M in presales, and her movie could beat the Barbie movie’s opening weekend grosses. She made a deal directly with AMC theaters, cutting out the middle man, though other theaters will also get to show the film; seen in July in Seattle
Taylor already has $100 million in presales in the bank, but some analysts think her concert film could have an opening-weekend gross greater than the Barbie movie’s $162 million, though it won’t approach that movies stunning $1.43 billion grosses.
The film was a major coup for AMC. Taylor made the unusual move of negotiating directly with the theater chain to have it serve as her film’s distributor — skipping the usual middle man — after she and her family became frustrated with the demands of distributors she had been working with.
All AMC theaters in the US will be showing the documentary when it debuts on Friday, and AMC has also been working out contracts with rival theater chains to allow them to show the film as well.
The movie also isn’t eligible for AMC’s A-list subscription plan, and the tickets are more expensive than usual, meaning that the theater chain — and Taylor — will be making an even bigger pile of cash than usual.
