marked a milestone as she celebrated her 14th number-one single on the music charts this week.

The 36-year-old superstar took to Instagram to also announce that it had been over a decade since she had two singles from the same album reach the top of the charts.

After she released her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl last October, Swift is now tied for third place with  with 14 number-one singles.

The hold the record for the most number-one singles of all time on the Billboard Hot 100 list with 20, closely followed by  in second place with 19.

This comes after Swift and her fiancé 's . 

That was promptly followed by her ex-boyfriend and his fiancée Swift's rumored nuptials.

She had two singles off of her latest album reach the top of the music charts, a feat she last accomplished 12 years ago. To celebrate the success of her new single Opalite, she enjoyed champagne with her album's producers Max Martin and Shellback

On Monday, Swift shared a gushing social media post marking the double number-one singles goal she reached after 12 years of working towards it again.

In the caption of her Instagram post, Swift noted that this was the first time she had two songs from one of her albums reach number one on the chart. 

From her latest album The Life of a Showgirl, her single, The Fate of Ophelia, topped the Billboard Global 200.

She took to Instagram to celebrate achieving her 14th number-one single with behind-the-scenes photos and clips from recording the song and filming the music video for Opalite

In addition to footage from early stages of writing and recording Opalite, she also shared clips from her newly released music video. In one clip, she filmed herself in the double denim look she wore for her 90s infomercial-inspired music video

Norton, the host of the comedy chat show, also took part in the filming of  for Opalite. 

She wrapped up her celebratory Instagram post with a photo of her celebrating with her collaborative music producers and holding up champagne flutes. 

In her caption, she directly addressed her fans: 'Just a few Opalite memories to celebrate the Hot 100 #1 you guys just got this song!! 

She gushed about being 'so thankful' to her fans as she included her self-recorded videos in the studio

In the clips, she shared a sneak peek of how she and her producers came up with the beat, the melody and the lyrics for the song

One clip showed her practicing choreography for her Opalite music video, which featured the A-list stars she was joined by on The Graham Norton Show in October 2025

She also recorded and shared clips of the music producers and a special guest in the studio with them while working on her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl

The superstar concluded with emojis of a pretzel, a cactus and a rock as she referenced imagery from her Opalite music video.

The 14-time Grammy winner previously shared the inspiration behind her latest music video in another social media post. 

Swift explained she wrote and directed the project after the inspiration 'crash landed into my imagination' when she appeared on Norton's talk show alongside her fellow stars in October 2025. 

'I remember thinking I got ridiculously lucky with the group I was paired with,' she shared as she praised the fellow talk show guests as people she has 'admired from afar.'
