Taryn Mannings Distressing Audio Surfaces After Altercation

A distraught Taryn Manning called alleged female ex-lover Holliann 'Holli' Hartman last month to beg for help as she claimed she was bleeding and had lost a tooth due to an alleged altercation with her on-off boyfriend.

In audio exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail, the alum, 47, can be heard crying over the phone and claiming: 'He kicked me last night.'

The man she was accusing is paparazzo Ricardo 'Rick' Mendoza, whom the Daily Mail exclusively revealedwith Manning since 2024.

'I did not! Oh my God, oh my God,' Mendoza can be heard saying - denying the allegations as he then accused the troubled actress of being intoxicated all day.

'Yes, you did,' Manning then insisted amid tears. 'My tooth is gone. Where did my tooth go? I'm in so much pain. He thinks I'm faking it.'

Hartman, 36, who was on the other line, demanded that Mendoza leave so that she could go and assist Manning, who continued to weep. Manning then said there was 'blood everywhere and he's filming me naked. I'm so upset. I'm so embarrassed. My tooth is gone. I'm not going to throw anyone under the bus. I just want out of this situation.'

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Hartman claimed she eventually made it to Manning's Palm Springs, California, property and took her to the hospital. 

'We were at the hospital all night long, but of course she never pressed charges,' said the former makeup artist, who has been in Manning's life for over a decade.

Following the alleged incident, Manning herself claimed in a since-deleted Instagram video from March that Mendoza 'beat the c**p out of' her, ripped her lip and tore the ligament that connects the lip to the gums.

But in a statement to the Daily Mail, Manning denied that Mendoza ever attacked her.

'Any suggestion that Rick Mendoza has harmed me is completely false,' she told us.

'What is being referenced appears to come from moments where we were informally acting, rehearsing or recording material, which is something we regularly do.

'Any audio or footage taken out of that context would be misleading and does not reflect reality. Rick and I have been getting to know each other over time, and there is no truth to the claims being made about him.'

Hartman claimed she has been involved romantically on and off with Manning over the years, but Manning has denied the claim. Hartman also claimed those in Manning's inner circle have grown increasingly concerned since she started dating Mendoza.

'She used to pray and used to try to watch Jesus all the time,' Hartman claimed. 'Now she literally tells me "666" and "I've put a hex on you. Satan all the way." I mean, it's bad.

'She threatens my life now. She's not who she was back then at all.'

Hartman further alleged that alcohol dependency may have something to do with it.

'I don't know if it's the alcoholism that has rotted her brain, but it's really escalated,' she said. 'Rick pulls out the abuser in her so much so that she thinks that it's life now.'

Mendoza has denied Hartman's allegations and challenged her credibility. 

The Daily Mail has obtained text messages Manning purportedly sent to Hartman that appear to corroborate these allegations.

Manning also appears to have a history of exhibiting violent behavior.

In a recently leaked video, the 8 Mile star was  Hartman.

The Daily Mail has exclusively obtained a second video that shows Manning lunging at Hartman during a separate incident. Hartman denied ever striking back, but the clip does not show what happened before or after the lunge.

In an Instagram video posted last week, Manning dismissed Hartman as a 'random girl that was a fan that I befriended 18 years ago' whom she was trying to help keep off the streets.

However, the former makeup artist claimed their relationship is much deeper, alleging that they have been 'in love' in the past and got engaged in the fall of 2023. 

Hartman claimed that Manning was going through a tough period at the time due to  of convicted rapist Danny Masterson. Hartman said that was when the actress allegedly told her, 'You really are always there for me' and popped the question.

The Daily Mail obtained texts that seemingly show the two women repeatedly declaring their love for one another and planning their future together:

'Let's get married. Asap. My beautiful wife. I love you Holli,' Manning purportedly wrote.

Another read: 'My heart is exploding. Cause I love you so much it hurts. [You're] my baby angel. Let's get a baby.' 

'I've always been under the impression that she's in love with me and this is what we're doing and this is what we're working toward,' Hartman told the Daily Mail.

'But it's literally been her excuse to have her cake and eat it, too. She doesn't care about not being with women. She just doesn't want to be tied down to one woman.'

Manning has not publicly put a label on her sexuality, and the Daily Mail reviewed texts she purportedly sent in which she denied that she was gay. However, Manning has been in a public relationship with actress Anne Cline.

In 2021, TMZ reported that Manning and Cline were engaged. Though, they reportedly split just two months after the proposal.

Meanwhile, Hartman has seemingly been a constant in Manning's life.

Hartman told the Daily Mail she first met the actress in 2010 at one of Manning's concerts and they formed a strong friendship, bonding over their upbringings and music.

Hartman claimed the relationship then turned sexual - and, increasingly volatile - around 2012.

In October of that year, Manning was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault following a physical altercation with Hartman, who had been working as Manning's makeup artist and assistant. 

Speaking about the incident for the first time, Hartman told the Daily Mail that Manning had met a man while out at a nearby club and then brought him up to their room at New York City's Dream Downtown hotel. Once inside the room, the two women allegedly got into a dispute over whether Hartman was jealous of the man.

'She lunged across the beds at me, started punching and hitting me,' Hartman claimed. 'The guy gets up to try to separate us, so now she has me pinned with her foot into my bladder... and I start peeing all over the floor.'

Hartman - who claimed they were both under the influence of alcohol and her prescribed Adderall at the time - alleged Manning then dragged her by her hair out of the hotel bathroom shower. 

'I was just in the shower crying because I wanted to be alone,' Hartman claimed. 'She pulls me out by my hair, pulls me into the hallway, then she roundhouse kicks me in my face. She reaches her two fingers down to hook my eyes, so her fingernails scratched my eyelids.'

Hartman claimed she was able to run out of the room and asked the front desk for other accommodation - they allegedly did not provide one. She claimed she did not call the police until the following day when friends at a hair salon encouraged her to do so.

Manning was placed on six months probation and one day of community service, leading to her charge getting dismissed, according to news outlets. The case files have since been sealed, per the Manhattan Criminal Court.

The women remained in contact despite the volatility. In 2016, Hartman against Manning in Los Angeles for allegedly headbutting her, spraying Windex in her eyes and putting her in a headlock, per court documents obtained by TMZ.

Manning denied any wrongdoing via her lawyers at the time, and the order was denied because the incident took place in New York.

Hartman has also found herself in legal trouble over the years.

In 2023, she was arrested  Manning's 2004 Chrysler Crossfire.

'I went to jail for the night on grand theft and luckily the female officer realized that this was same sex domestic violence - which, not a lot of people understand that just because it's two women,' Hartman alleged to the Daily Mail.

'So they processed me really quick because they could tell that I didn't steal the car. For over ten years, I've borrowed her second car because she lives in Palm Springs and I work in LA... and she didn't like the fact that I was trying to tell her how it was going to happen, so she filed it as stolen and I got arrested that same day.'

She claimed the district attorney never ended up filing charges against her. 

Hartman claimed she dated Manning up until she began spending more time with Mendoza - adding they had remained in contact.

The ex-assistant claimed she recently tried to help Manning with work she needed done around the house - and that they got into a financial dispute over how much money Hartman was owed for her labor.

Over the weekend, the former makeup artist claimed to the Daily Mail that she was forced to be homeless after Manning said she could not live in her studio any longer. 

However, both parties have since confirmed that they have squared away that debt. 

Hartman told us she is speaking out against Manning, claiming she finally realized Manning 'doesn't have any goodwill' toward her. 

'I want to be clear that there is significantly more context to this situation than what's being presented,' Manning told the Daily Mail in response to Hartman's allegations.

'There is a long and complicated personal history here, and over the years I have consistently tried to be supportive, including during very difficult and sensitive situations. At this point, it feels like I'm being pulled into something that is rooted in personal choices and the way those are now being handled.

'Many of the allegations being shared are inaccurate, taken out of context or part of a broader situation that is not being fully represented. Publishing one-sided claims without that context can be misleading and potentially harmful.

'This is a deeply personal matter, and I'm not willing to escalate it further in the press. My focus is on my work, my safety and moving forward in a healthy and stable way.

'Out of respect for everyone involved, I won't be expanding beyond this. She's been paid. So weird.'
