Wei, who is one of Burberry's celebrity ambassadors, wore a loose black babydoll dress and trench coat to the event, but her oversized attire wasn't enough to mask her midsection.
The news has come as a shock to fans of the star, as she recently landed a huge role in South Korean director Park Chan-wook's next Hollywood film.
Chan-wook, who is best known for the cult classic Oldboy, recently lined up an A-list cast for his next project, The Brigands of Rattlecreek.
In addition to Wei, the thriller will star Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey, along with Austin Butler and Pedro Pascal.
The film's synopsis reads, 'A capstone of the themes Park Chan-wook has plumbed across his entire body of work to date, the film is an emotionally explosive and visually stunning meditation on the consequences of violence, the value of family, the power of memory, and the true cost of life.'
Chan-wook made his English-language debut with 2013's Stoker, starring Nicole Kidman.
Wei previously starred in Chan-wook's 2022 film, Decision to Leave, which was nominated for an Academy award.
