It is less than 24 hours until the Britain’s Got Talent final and the contestants are making their final preparations ahead of their all important performances.

And Sydnie Christmas looked to be in great spirits as she headed to rehearsals on Saturday afternoon.

The musical theatre singer blew the judges and audience away with her rendition of Frank Sinatra’s My Way during Wednesday’s semi final.

Appearing makeup free, the star, 28, scraped her brunette locks back from her face in a tight ponytail as she threw on a faded denim jacket and ripped jeans.

She was joined by two of her fellow finalists Alex Mitchell and Mike Woodhams.

Ten acts made it through to Sunday night’s grand final after this weeks run of semi final shows.

However there will also be a wildcard act, chosen by the judges, who will be saved at the last hurdle and given a last minute spot in the final.

Sydnie left the whole of Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo speechless as she received a standing ovation from the whole of the audience after her semi final performance.

However despite the mounting pressure, Sydnie looked calm as she laughed alongside comedian Alex.

Sydnie’s hands were full as she carried a water in one hand and a coffee in another, while her headphones hung around her neck.

Alex, who has autism and Tourette’s, left the judges in fits of laughter with his stand up routine before thanking the BGT platform for giving people like him a place on the stage.

The primary teacher from Leeds wore a yellow football top and shorts as he headed to rehearsals.

Mike became the sixth contestant to make it into the semi final on Wednesday when he beat dancer LeightonJay in the public vote after the judges took it to a split decision when asked which act to send through to the final.

The impressionist left the judges gobsmacked after he debuted his brilliant impersonation skills, including James Blunt, Ronan Keating, Gabrielle and Heather Small during his audition.

Fans have been debating which act will return as a wildcard this week, with some hoping Leightonjay will make a return on Sunday night.

After the judges opted to save Mike, viewers were outraged as they took to Twitter writing: ‘Leightonjay was robbed. Simple as’; ‘Leightonjay for the wildcard please’; ‘shame, I wanted Leighton to go through’.

‘Leighton was completely robbed blind on #BritainsGotTalent tonight – what are the judges thinking? He could be a superstar. I hope he gets the wildcard and inevitably finishes higher in the final than that nonsense from Mike’.

Meanwhile after Friday’s show, viewers began campaigning for Denise and Stefan to secure the saving spot.

Heading home after falling at the final hurdle, Denise and Stefan were visibly upset as they thanked the judges for the opportunity.
