Sydney Sweeney seems to be enjoying a bit of downtime after taking advantage of her newfound star power in the wake of the popularity of Euphoria.
On Friday, the actress spent some quality time with her fiancé Jonathan Davino and their pet pooch with a walk together in Los Angeles.
The couple were spotted leaving an office building while Davino, a Chicago-based restauranteur and businessman, was led by their eager dog, with Sweeney following close behind.
With the temperature hovering between the 50s and 60s Fahrenheit, the leading lady opted to wear an orange and red cropped sweater with a turtleneck design with blue jeans that she cuffed on each leg by several inches.
The 5ft3in beauty got a height boost with a pair of black platform boots on the outing.
Sydney Sweeney, 26, met up with her fiancé Jonathan Davino, 40, for a dog walk near an office building in Los Angeles on Friday
Keeping things simple, Sweeney, 26, opted to pulled her long blonde locks off her face and into a bun, all while she carried a stylish black purse.
Davino, 40, dressed similarly in blue jeans with a black sweatshirt and matching sneakers.
He also wore dark sunglasses and a black baseball cap over his long dark brown hair that flowed down his back a few inches.
The pair only just returned back to the US a couple days ago after shooting one of her new films in Brisbane, Australia.
Though Sweeney has been linked romantically to Davino since 2018, they have done their best to keep their relationship mostly out of the spotlight.
Eventually, after about four years of dating, the couple got engaged in early 2022.
Sweeney previously opened up to Cosmopolitan about how she ‘doesn’t date people in the spotlight.’
‘I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest,’ she revealed during the interview with the publication.
‘I have a great support system. I have people who will battle for me and allow me to be on the pedestal and shine without making me feel like, “Oh no, I’m shining too bright and I need to step back,”‘ she added.
Sweeney first gained attention for appearing in the television series Everything Sucks! (2018), The Handmaid’s Tale (2018), and the limited series Sharp Objects (2018).
But the actress is best known for playing the role of Cassie Howard for the two seasons of the teen drama series Euphoria (2019-present).
HBO renewed the show for a third season in February 2022, but it has endured numerous delays, including from the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes, as well as the unexpected deaths of star of Angus Cloud and producer Kevin Turen.
The third season of Euphoria is now scheduled to begin production before the end of 2023.
The Euphoria actress was both casual and chic dressed in a colorful cropped sweater, cuffed blue jeans, platform boots, and her blonde locks pulled into a bun
Sweeney just returned from Australia after shooting the film Eden, which is the fifth new film she now has in some phase of post-production; her rom-com Anyone But You drops Dec 22
As the cast and crew are set to return to work on Euphoria, this comes at a time when Sweeney’s star power and demand have skyrocketed.
Taking advantage of her high-profile work on the hit series, the actress currently has no less than five films in some form of post-production.
The romantic comedy Anyone But You, in which she stars opposite Glen Powell, is set to be released on December 22, and the superhero film Madame Web, alongside Dakota Johnson and Celeste O’Connor drops on February 14, 2024.
Her other work currently being finalized includes starring in the psychological horror film Immaculate with Álvaro Morte; the thriller Echo Valley with Julianne Moore; and the survival thriller Eden that includes Ana de Armas, Jude Law, Vanessa Kirby and Daniel Brühl.
