Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita Kuzmin has revealed that he is launching his own solo tour and is preparing to go into music.
The professional dancer, who has starred on the BBC show for four years, admitted he has been secretly having singing lessons to make him a triple-threat as a performer.
Nikita, 27, who came second on Celebrity Big Brother last year, said he is hoping to star in a musical in his latest career goal.
He told The Sun: ‘There are things which I’m saving for next year and singing is one of them. I’ve been taking singing lessons for a couple of years.
‘I would love to do a musical. I wouldn’t mind doing music. I’m not against anything that is new and exciting. Potentially going into films. But I think a musical is my next step.’
Nikita is set to head on a two-and-a-half-month solo tour Midnight Dancer at Bromley Churchill Theatre on Saturday.

Despite Nikita not showing off his vocal skills on this tour he has teased it will be a ‘very dramatic’ show and follow a ‘love story’.
He added: ‘The show is more of a musical because I’ve seen every Strictly and non-Strictly shows, and one thing I didn’t want to do is just build a show with lots of dancing and no context.
‘It’s a love story with betrayal, pain and hope – it’s a very dramatic show. As scared as I am, I’m loving this scary feeling because I know that on the night, I will deliver the best thing people have ever seen.’
It comes after Nikita fought back the tears and admitted that ‘life is not easy’ as he made a heartbreaking family confession on Loose Women last month.
Nikita, who is from Ukraine, spoke about his family, who are in the middle of the war.
Nikita said: ‘Well how are they? That a good question, I try to keep communicating with them everyday.
‘Life is not easy and I don’t like pretending that everything is going beautifully, because it’s not.
‘The fact that it’s not in the news anymore, it doesn’t give it anymore attention, it’s not much help.

‘But obviously the government are trying to help and I’m really grateful for that.
‘And I hope everybody will be as safe as possible.’
The dancer then got emotional and wiped his eyes and added: ‘I would just love everybody to be safe.’
