The Hills alum, 42, responded after the star, 62, said she did not want a 'reality person' for the job.
Pratt took to X on Tuesday and shared a clip from a recent Fox interview, where he was asked whether the biggest city in should be run by a former star.
'The reality, pun intended... is that was from 20 years ago,' Pratt - who was known as the villain on the MTV show - said, before torching current mayor Karen Bass.

'If we look at what Karen Bass was doing 20 years ago, she was in learning how to make bombs with the people who would then go to bomb Hill.'
'So, if we're looking at backgrounds, I'm pretty proud of what I was doing at 20 on reality television,' he quipped.

Rinna reasoned that voting for a reality TV star was not a great idea.
'Listen, I'm a reality person,' she said. 'You wouldn't want me as mayor, really. I mean, let's just face it.'
She went on to say that she 'loves' Pratt and thinks 'he's amazing' but does not want him for the job as she prefers someone with more political experience.
'Let's have somebody that's already been mayor, the mayor of San Jose, or whoever,' she stated.
