A week after being eliminated from the race to become the next mayor of , the reality star-turned-aspiring politician, 42, has travelled to for production on his wife's new music video.

Pratt managed to crack a smile as he savored quality time with his wife.  

The couple looked stronger than ever as they strolled on a beach together on Sunday, cool drinks in hand. 

But the trip wasn't all play with Montag, 37, also busy shooting the video to her song Summer Love - and the scenes certainly looked steamy as she writhed around the beach in a white lace dress. 

The setting is a world away from City Hall in downtown Los Angeles - a place Pratt was hoping to inhabit. 

In the days after the primary election, the reality of Pratt going head-to-head with incumbent mayor Karen Bass seemed like a reality until progressive challenger Nithya Raman pulled ahead in the vote count, eliminating him from the race.

Former reality star Pratt decided to run for the office after his family lost their home in the Palisades during last year's wildfires and has not been shy about his displeasure with the local government.
