The call took place on the same day that Paul allegedly attacked Mortensen at her home. Both Paul and Mortensen - who dated on and off between 2022 and 2024 - made domestic violence allegations against each other in February

In the call Mortensen states that his son is 'freaking out' as he explains that the child was 'kind of hurt' and 'wasn't doing so well' which prompted him to call 911.

At the start of the call Mortensen is heard saying, 'I told you,' while Paul is heard speaking in the background, though it's unclear what she says, aside from a phrase ending in 'to me' and then a repeated plea of 'please.'

He claimed that she grabbed his throat, face and neck and shoved him into a window. He said he attempted to call the police, but she convinced him to hang up the phone.

However, Paul told officers that she had asked Mortensen to leave her home that morning and that he refused. She did not claim that any physical violence took place that day.

The police report goes on to cite an incident from February 23, when Mortensen returned to Paul's home the next day, after they had allegedly been intimate.

Mortensen claimed that they once again started talking about his past relationships and Paul 'became angry again, mounted him, grabbed his throat, and screamed in his face.'

Paul allegedly threw a number of items at her ex and left a hole in the wall, before following him to his car where she allegedly continued to punch him.

'Dakota shoved her off, causing her to hit her head on the center console screen. Upon leaving again, Dakota received a text from Taylor stating she was gushing blood from her nose and it would not stop,' the police report stated.

Meanwhile Paul claimed that she was in the car with Mortensen when he spilled his drink on himself and became irate.

She claimed that he slammed her head against the dashboard before grabbing her by the neck and back.

On Tuesday, the police department announced that they wouldn’t be filing charges against Paul due to 'insufficient corroborating evidence.'

'With this new information [we] believe that Dakota to the primary aggressor of the second incident on the 23rd, and there is limited information for the 22nd,' the report read.
