Shia LaBeoufs Girlfriends Dark Past Exposed!

Sitting at a table al fresco in Rome, was caught on camera last month.

Remaining seated, the unnamed woman was told to 'f*** off' by the actor, 39, in a shocking public tirade. This was weeks after they had first been spotted together in New Orleans during Mardi Gras, where LaBeouf was .

Fast forward a few days and the mood was markedly calmer as they were pictured running errands , with the woman described by TMZ as LaBeouf's new girlfriend.

Now, the Daily Mail can reveal she is Nicole Mumphrey, 33, a 'free-spirited,' divorced woman from  who studied Urban, Community and Regional Planning at the University of New Orleans. 

Like LaBeouf, Mumphrey has also had a past run-in with the law and experience with a 'toxic' relationship. An insider claimed to the Daily Mail that their fledgling romance 'is not going to end well.'

Mumphrey was charged with 'domestic abuse aggravated assault' and 'false imprisonment with a weapon' on June 27, 2021, after an incident involving her unnamed ex-boyfriend at their home in New Orleans.

According to the police report obtained by the Daily Mail, when officers arrived at around 9.05pm, Mumphrey described how she had gotten into a 'verbal altercation with her boyfriend due to him lying.'

'Her boyfriend attempted to put on a shirt and leave, and Ms Mumphrey grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the shirt that was in her boyfriend's hand to prevent him from leaving,' the report read. 'Her boyfriend then grabbed Ms. Mumphrey's bag, and a physical altercation ensued. Her boyfriend then left the location.'

The report claims Mumphrey 'started to punch him in the face.' Despite 'multiple cuts in the shirt' there was 'no penetration on his skin.' Mumphrey is noted as having 'redness' and 'bruises' but details about the cause are not specified. Both parties refused medical aid.

Mumphrey was transported to a central lockup station, and her ex was questioned by police. When asked to describe the incident, it was noted in the report that 'a month ago, she was on pills and attacked him with a knife.' 

Mumphrey's ex also claimed in a brief interview that she had done similar things to him before, which allegedly left him fearing 'she [would] seriously injure' him. He claimed it was 'getting worse' by the day. 

The insider told the Daily Mail that the incident with the knife came about as her ex attempted to leave their house - which she was staying at rent-free - to see a friend. Mumphrey reportedly 'hated' all of his friends, which is why she allegedly tried to prevent him from leaving. 

'Ultimately, her ex chose to drop the charges and tried to help her get off the hook, so she didn't go to prison,' the insider stated.

According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Mumphrey was released on a $2,000 bond after her arrest. She was ordered to complete a domestic abuse intervention program through the Domestic Violence Monitoring Court by November 2021.

She was also issued a domestic stay away order on June 28, 2021, to protect her ex from harm. Per the guidelines, she was ordered not to 'abuse, harass, assault [or] stalk' him, among other things. She was banned from going within 600ft of him or 100yd of his residence.

The Order of Protection remained in effect until the case was disposed. Charges were ultimately dropped in October 2022 after the District Attorney's Office decided not to file formal charges against Mumphrey.

According to the insider, the incident 'wasn't a one-time thing.'

'One time she cracked him over the head with the candle with the glass,' they claimed. 'He was bleeding out, eventually passed out and should have been in the hospital.'

The insider claimed Mumphrey's 'chaotic behavior' meant her ex 'never knew what type of Nicole he was coming home to.'

'It was a lot of her screaming, yelling, blaming him for the situation she's gotten herself in and blaming him for her "life sucking,"' the source said, alleging that there were instances of her 'trashing the television' and 'breaking things.'

They also claimed 'she would go through his phone every night and anything incriminating like a photo of another woman or any females' name, she would punch him in the face.'

Mumphrey and her ex dated on and off for seven years. They had a 'dangerously toxic relationship,' according to our insider, who said they last broke up in 2023. They claimed Mumphrey would sometimes make contact to try to 'rekindle.'

'They last were in touch at the end of February,' the insider claimed. 'She said stuff like, "I love you" and "I miss you," and asked when he was coming back to town.

'But then she disappeared and a few weeks later, the photos of her with Shia came out, and he was completely shocked to see she had quickly moved on to another guy. He's still processing everything and it's hard for him to see photos of them together.'

Records seen by the Daily Mail show that her ex was also charged with 'domestic abuse battery, simple criminal damage to property and disturbing the peace' in February 2024 after an altercation with a new partner. The charges were dropped a few months later. He was given a disturbing the peace ticket. 

LaBeouf also has a problematic history in relationships. In 2020, his ex FKA Twigs sued him for $10million in damages after she accused him of sexual battery, assault and emotional distress throughout their nine-month relationship.

It was settled in 2025, with Twigs signing a nondisclosure agreement - details were kept private. She filed another lawsuit against him this year in Los Angeles on March 25.

Twigs, real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett, alleged he made a secret arbitration demand in December trying to get an 'exorbitant' sum of money as punishment over what he called a breach of a past arrangement from their settlement.

'Shia LaBeouf has tried to control Tahliah Barnett for the better part of a decade,' her lawyers said in legal documents obtained by the Daily Mail.

While it is unclear how Mumphrey and LaBeouf met, the insider claimed she has a history of dating wealthy men, even traveling to different states to be with them. 

She has 'become reliant on the guys she dates,' according to our source, who claimed she owes her ex 'thousands of dollars' which he allegedly lent her to fix her car and her mother's car. 

Mumphrey, who is reportedly passionate about 'mystical ayahuasca hippie s***,' was previously married to a man who works for Shell as a lead well engineer. They got married in May 2014, according to court records, and their divorce was finalized in May 2016. Her ex-husband had filed the petition for divorce in December 2015.

Meanwhile, LaBeouf was in a long term, on-off relationship with Mia Goth from 2012 until last year. They got married in 2016 in Las Vegas, but it was later revealed that they were not legally married. They welcomed daughter Isabel in early 2022.

'We've been [separated] for a while and we're trying to figure out co-parenting,' LaBeouf said of their relationship in a February interview on Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan. 'And we're good. She's a good girl. Even through all of this, she gives me grace. I still talk to my kid twice a day... Even when things are hanky, she's a good woman.'

He went on to praise Goth as 'one of the best girls that ever lived.'

LaBeouf has faced his own run-ins with the law in recent months. Following a court hearing on February 26, LaBeouf had to pay a bond of $105,000 and was ordered by a New Orleans Criminal District Court judge to check into rehab and undergo regular drug and alcohol testing.

On February 28, just two weeks after his previous arrest, he was arrested again in New Orleans and charged with an additional misdemeanor count of simple battery. The actor's attorney said in a statement that his arrest was connected to the previous incident, in which he got into a brawl outside a bar near the French Quarter.

LaBeouf has not entered a plea, but is expected to return to the New Orleans court next month. He has only confessed that the reason why he got arrested was because he got 'scared' by 'three gay dudes' who were 'touching' his leg and he was 'standing by myself.'

'I'm sorry - if that's homophobic, then I'm that,' he said in his interview with Callaghan.

'No regular person would be required to post over $100,000 in bonds and be jailed two separate times for one misdemeanor incident,' LaBeouf's attorney said in a statement. 'Just as he does not deserve preferential treatment, Mr LaBeouf also does not deserve to be treated more harshly by the police and courts just because he is a public figure.'

Following this, he allegedly at the end of March. Bar patrons alleged to TMZ that LaBeouf whipped his shirt off when he got into a fight outside of Le Bon Temps Roule.

Our insider claimed they've heard from an acquaintance that LaBeouf has not been treating his new girlfriend well.

They warned Mumphrey's relationship with LaBeouf could turn toxic, stating that, 'This is a rebound situation… You put them together and that's a perfect storm for destruction. This is not going to end well.'
