They looked the epitome of chic as they sat front row at the Giorgio Armani Show during Haute Couture  on Tuesday in their matching attires.

However it was by no means Cate Blanchett and Rosamund Pike's first rodeo as they showed they have barely aged a day after previously sitting at the same show back in 2007.

Almost two decades ago the pair wowed at the Giorgio Armani Prive show in Paris as Rosamund, then 28, looked stunning in a bridal-esque satin white dress.

Meanwhile Cate, then 38, looked stylish in a plunging charcoal grey blazer dress with leather panels.

And on Tuesday the duo were back on the front row taking inspiration from the iconic designer as they twinned in matching black and white outfits.

Cate, 57, opted for a black velvet cut-out jumpsuit with a white trim, while Rosamund, 47, opted for a classic black satin suit with a white blouse.

Unafraid of ageing, back in 2018 Cate said she is 'not panicking' about turning 50, saying that 'there are so many lives' she still wants to live.

'I think about it on an existential level, sure, but on a career level, I refuse. It's important to keep karate-chopping those doors down and creating new opportunities not just for yourself, but also for those who are coming up behind you,' she said.

'I'm not panicking on a work level. It's more that there are so many lives I want to live.'

Meanwhile she previously told InStyle that she would tell her younger self to 'champion a different type of beauty' rather than try to conform.

Referring to a time in her twenties when she was living in Australia and desperate to tan her pale skin, Cate said: 'You're so vulnerable to other people's interpretations and impressions of what you should look like.

'And I'd say "f**k that" a bit more. And that's where women can step in and really champion different types of beauty and working [with] what you've got.

'Everyone's starting to look the same and talk the same, it's only interesting when we're all [different] - it's the melting pot, right? I'd worry about it less.'

The star has also slammed social media filters for preventing people from aging naturally and claimed apps like Instagram and their photo filters warp expectations of ageing and beauty.

She said she finds it 'confronting' that people now look too much like 'Barbie dolls', reported The Sunday Times in 2024.

'Nobody's getting older. They just look like Barbie dolls,' she said, adding that she does not feel 'regret or shame' when seeing photos of her younger self.

'It's not the ageing I find confronting at all. Because that is like when you stumble across a photo of a holiday when you were 16 or one of my husband and me when we got married.'

She continued: 'It doesn't produce regret or shame. Rather, a recognition of the joy of the experience or a painful moment. I'm transported right back.'

Meanwhile Rosamund spoke about what ageless means to her, as she explained: 'I think an ageless energy is as important as an ageless look, you know? Spirit, health, energy, and vibrancy in the skin are something you can't define, and it's something that I've always sought.'

She told Marie Claire: 'I've come to understand a lot more about my skin. It's fine and translucent, which means you can see the blood vessels underneath, and that's why you always see the flush.

'So I protect myself in the sun always, I've worn a hat since I was, gosh, 14. You will never see me out in the sun without a hat.'
