Diamond stars Andy Garcia as private detective Joe Diamond, a man haunted by his traumatic past who uses his his exceptional wit and keen observation skills to solve crimes that have stumped the LAPD.
As well as playing the lead role, The Untouchables star also wrote and directed the crime drama, as well as co-composed the score alongside Arturo Sandoval.
The star-studded cast also includes fellow Hollywood heavyweights Brendan Fraser, Dustin Hoffman, Bill Murray, Vicky Krieps and Rosemarie DeWitt.
The film has been a 20-year passion project for Garcia, who couldn't hold back his tears at the premiere as he urged people to follow their dreams, adding: 'As my father would always say, never take a step backward - not even to gain momentum.'
Sharon's appearance at the premiere and her fun-filled outing with Eva comes as she continues to try to keep her mind off her recent heartbreaking loss, revealing last week that her older brother had passed away.
Taking to Instagram, the Basic Instinct star announced musician Mike Stone had died aged 74, after battling an illness for several years.
Sharing a snap of her late sibling, Sharon penned: 'Mike Stone, My oldest brother, Has passed away. Following an extended illness. We wish him peace', signing off the tribute with her name and those of her three sons, Roan, 25, Laird, 21, and Quinn, 19.
Like his sister, Mike was also an actor in addition to being a musician, appearing in several films throughout the 1990s, including Eraser and Malevolence.
He also had a role as a counselor opposite Sharon in 1995's The Quick And The Dead, starring Russell Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio.
It marks yet another tragic family loss for the Casino star, as it comes just over a year after her mother Dorothy Stone passed away at the age of 91 in March. Her father, Joseph William Stone II, previously died in 2009 aged 81.

Sharing the sad news, Sharon explained Dorothy had been long been suffering after having several strokes and that she'd been looking after her in her Beverly Hills mansion during her final years.
Despite their 'tough' relationship, the star credited her mother with teaching her to 'stand on her own two feet.'
Sharon heartbreakingly revealed that her mum's final words to her were: 'You talk too much, you make me want to commit suicide' and while people in the room laughed, it was a 'hard one to go out on.'
While Mike's death also comes only three years on from the death of their other brother, Patrick Stone aged 57, which occurred 18 months after his 11-month-old son, River, died from organ failure.
Patrick passed away in Pennsylvania in February 2023 after suffering a heart attack, which his wife Tasha described as his heart 'being ripped out of my chest' following their son's death.
Sharon confirmed the passing on social media as she expressed her extreme heartache over the sudden loss, calling her brother a 'gentle soul' with a 'wonderful sense of humor.'
Her last remaining sibling is her little sister Kelly Stone, 65, with whom she founded charity Planet Hope in the 90s, to provide 'outreach and resources' to those in need, including members of the homeless community, victims of natural disasters and terminally ill children and their family members
