As propelled a fork full of food towards her fiancé , she made airplane noises to coax the NFL star to take a bite.

The previously unseen footage, made public in June during a live recording of Kelce's New Heights podcast, served as proof that Swift had successfully pushed the City Chiefs tight end, a notoriously picky eater, out of his comfort zone.

Though that's hardly the only aspect of Kelce's life that's been transformed since he met his popstar bride. For  of the hulking athlete being sweetly spoon-fed has also shattered any lingering doubt over whether the notorious 'party boy' has truly been tamed.

'Prior to Taylor, he definitely wanted to have a taste of Hollywood and the limelight,' one insider told the Daily Mail. 'He liked going to [events] and working on his personal brand during the off season.'

Now, however, Kelce is ready to leave that raucous reputation - bolstered by his beer chugging, late-night clubbing and bachelor behavior - in the rearview. He told GQ magazine in an interview published just days before his August 2025 proposal to Swift that he was 'starting to phase out of wanting to be known as the party guy.'

'Those around him seem to really think Taylor is a great fit for him,' our insider added.

Despite initially appearing as an unlikely match for the self-proclaimed Miss Americana, Kelce has become her prince charming just in time for their fairytale ending. The couple, both 36, are currently enjoying a at Madison Square Garden in .

Taylor Swift seems to have softened Travis Kelce, even spoon-feeding him during her appearance on his podcast

The spoon-feeding moment underscored how Swift has tamed the bad-boy athlete, whose brash antics over the years have often been at odds with her squeaky-clean image as America's sweetheart

As recently as his 2024 Super Bowl win, Kelce's behavior sparked significant backlash, as he was caught on camera in a heated sideline exchange, shoving his coach Andy Reid in a moment of frustration

The celebrations that followed only added fuel to the fire, with Kelce later criticized for partying hard in the aftermath of a mass shooting at the Super Bowl parade

At the Chief's Super Bowl victory parade, he appeared on the float visibly intoxicated, struggling to speak clearly in front of fans and slurring the lyrics of the Garth Brooks song Friends in Low Places as his teammate Patrick Mahomes looked to be holding him up.

The day, however, became a tragedy when a mass shooting broke out, in which 22 people were injured, including multiple children, and one woman died.

Although injured fans were rushed to the hospital, the celebrations continued.

Kelce made an ill-timed appearance at the local Granfalloon Restaurant and Bar, taking selfies with police officers, an open beer in hand.

The optics prompted huge backlash, with his behavior said to not be 'a good look,' and that of a 'caveman' and a 'douchebag.' There was even talk among Swift's fanbase that it should have been grounds to end the relationship.

That night, Kelce took to X to address the shooting, writing, 'I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me.'

But it's not just the hard-partying that has embroiled Kelce in controversy.

As his now-illustrious NFL career was first taking off, he was, naturally, very active on social media - and the posts came back to haunt Kelce when his romance with Swift went public.

Screenshots of posts that appear to be from the early 2010s - many now deleted and littered with misspellings - were widely shared online and ridiculed for remarks deemed crude, misogynistic and fat-shaming.

During his college years at the University of Cincinnati, he was kicked off the football team in 2010 after failing a drugs test, having tested positive for marijuana

Kelce's more unfiltered past is perhaps nowhere more evident than in a 2016 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, where he openly discussed dating 'dealbreakers'

Among them was an old tweet reading: 'As a man, You have something wrong with you if your going for girls that weigh more then you!!'

Another read, 'haha when fat people fall, its like slow motion entertainment, cuz they never JUST fall, they always tumble n gradually hit the deck #comedy.'

Some posts, however, merely revealed his boyish tone online. In one widely circulated tweet, he wrote: 'I just gave a squirle a peice [sic] of bread and it straight smashed all of it!!!! I had no idea they ate bread like that!! Haha #crazy.'

Swifties were quick to contrast Kelce's boorish behavior and silly posts with Swift's eloquent lyricism and carefully crafted girl-next-door image. Kelce, for his part, acknowledged the undeniable difference head on.

'I've never been a man of words. Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been f***ing mind-blowing. I'm learning every day,' he told the Wall Street Journal.

Before Swift, of course, the NFL star was an eligible bachelor, appearing on his own reality dating show Catching Kelce in 2016, which only aired for one season.

But it was his 'dating dealbreakers' - which he revealed that year on Andy Cohen's show Watch What Happens Live - that raised eyebrows when the clip resurfaced as his romance with the popstar blossomed.

When asked about women who don't enjoy oral sex, Kelce replied, 'Sounds like a dealbreaker to me,' prompting laughter from the audience. He also revealed he preferred to sleep with a woman before the third date, adding that it might be a dealbreaker if it didn't happen by then.

Kelce, for his part, has said that what looks like 'partying' with Swift - such as their outing at the 2024 US Open - is really just him reveling in moments with his bride-to-be

Kelce proposed to Swift last August

Despite his very public gesture to woo the popstar with a friendship bracelet adorned with his number, sources said that the move was more of a 'joke' - and that even when it did win Swift over, he was slow to respond to her texts.

'He just wasn't pursuing her heavily,' one source said. 'He's a football player!'

Three years and a ten-carat engagement ring later, however, it seems Kelce is no longer the fun-loving bachelor he once was.

Though our insider insists that he really 'hasn't changed,' at least not too much.

He's still in nightclubs, just now he's singing along to Swift's songs. When he's boisterously celebrating Chief's wins, she's right by his side. And as he's draining beers, she watches on - albeit with her head in her hands.

Kelce, for his part, has said that what looks like 'partying' with Swift - such as their outing at the 2024 US Open - is really just him reveling in moments with his wife-to-be.

As he told GQ magazine: 'I'm just enjoying the fun of being at this really cool event that I always wanted to go to with the person that I love.'
