Blanco discussed his wife's unhealthy eating habits during a private taping of 's Goop Podcast in West Hollywood on Tuesday for an upcoming episode, which will be released in September.

While her weight has fluctuated at times, much of that has been related to her battle with the autoimmune disease lupus, which can cause inflammation in the body.
In 2017, her friend Francia Raisa even donated a kidney to the star amid her continued health woes .
Gomez was at her heaviest in early 2023, but has since slimmed down after focusing more on her health in recent years.

Blanco is also a foodie, with the music producer releasing his own bestselling cookbook in 2024 called Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends.
