Despite the show being axed by Channel 10 last year, Rove Enterprises, which used to produce the program, has been operating 'theprojecttv' Instagram page.
The account shared a photo of Scotty, 31, after he missed out on gold at the Milan–Cortina Winter Olympics on Friday, along with a quote from the Aussie superstar.
'Put a bloody smile on your face, you sook, and go have a beer,' the post read, a direct quote from Scotty as he revealed what he would be doing after winning the silver medal.
Scotty's sister Rebecca James, who is engaged to Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac, did not realise they were quoting her brother and took to the comments section to slam them over their 'terrible' post.

'How dare you!!!! Such a disappointing comment by you,' an angry Rebecca wrote.

Several people quickly responded and clarified that they were simply quoting her brother.
However, Rebecca did not accept the explanation and said it was not immediately clear they were quoting her brother.

'That's unclear and it's a terrible post either way,' she clapped back.
Several others agreed, with person writing: 'Poor post, give it context. You should know better.'
'That is disgusting to say such a thing,' another said.
Aussie superstar James was left shattered on Friday when he finished second in the men's halfpipe final.
Competing at his fifth Olympics, James, 31, was beaten by Japan's Totsuka Yuto, who scored a jaw-dropping 95.00 from the judges on his second run.

James still makes history as the first Australian to win three medals, snaring silver in Beijing (2022) and bronze in PyeongChang eight years ago.
