Sarah Pidgeon Channels Carolyn Bessette at Prada Show

Sarah Pidgeon brought a touch of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy's iconic style to the Prada show in Milan as she arrived in her famously-neutral colour pallet.

Carolyn had a widely-documented love for the fashion house, which was seemingly another nod to the role Sarah played in Love Story.

Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette is a biographical drama anthology series that chronicles their intense, high-profile courtship and volatile marriage.

Sarah, 29, opted for a camel v-neck jumper, with a butter yellow tassel skirt and a pair of stylish pointed heels, which were also regularly spotted on Carolyn.

The actress wore a black handbag over her shoulder and styled her blonde locks in soft waves, in a half up, half down style. 

The new FX and Hulu series traces JFK Jr (Paul Anthony Kelly) and Carolyn's relationship, from an initial meet at a party to the deaths of the couple and her sister Lauren on July 16, 1999. 

They all died when a small plane piloted by Kennedy crashed into the Atlantic Ocean near Martha's Vineyard.

Jack Schlossberg, John's nephew, spoke out against the series last year, saying it was profiting off his family 'in a grotesque way' accusing executive producer Ryan Murphy of 'making millions' off their legacy.

Ryan retaliated on California Gov. Gavin Newsom's podcast, saying it was an 'odd choice to be mad about your relative that you really don´t remember.'

Jack Schlossberg, now running for Congress in New York, took to social media to share memories of his uncle.

Ryan was absent from the recent press circuit for Love Story, but executive producer Brad Simpson - a veteran of Ryan's American Crime Story projects - told The AP that the creative team is 'fully aware that there are real people and real tragedies often at the heart of these stories.'

'I´m not going to pretend like on some level we´re not making an entertainment product out of it, but we´ve tried to be ethical and we´ve tried to be incredibly sincere,' Simpson said.

Paul and Sarah said they took care in playing the couple, but do respect Schlossberg's opinion.
