Sarah Abos Chic Baby Shower and Gender Reveal

Sarah Abo celebrated the upcoming birth of her first child this weekend.  

The Today show host,  was absolutely glowing as she joined friends and family for a low-key party. 

The 39-year-old had her blossoming baby bump on display in a white gown that sat close to her figure, ensuring her belly was on display. 

The semi-sheer frock was paired with a smattering of silver accessories, and Sarah was absolutely glowing with a natural makeup look. 

Her white dress matched the décor at the event, which featured vases of lilies tied with satin ribbons. 

The event also served as a gender reveal, with Sarah announcing she was having a boy via a vintage-style cake with 'Oh boy' written in pastel blue icing across the top. 

She was accompanied by a group of loved ones, who cradled her bump in sweet photos. 

The group assembled at Carlton Wine Room in Melbourne, where they enjoyed a sit-down meal.  

Sarah recently opened up about her pregnancy journey, describing it as both joyful and challenging following what she called a 'bumpy ride' to conception.

In March, the TV star 

'I'm going to try and fail to maintain my composure. But yes, Cyrus and I are expecting a little baby,' she said.

'I know, it's obviously very happy news and everything... It hasn't been the easiest journey to get here, which a lot of people I know have gone through and will go through.

'It's not as easy as you sometimes think that pregnancy will be. 

'So, it has been a bit of a bumpy ride, but here we are. And yes, it's getting harder to hide. 

The Syrian-born presenter has been married to Cyrus Moran (left) since 2012
