Sam Thompson admitted he had a few 'super tough' days while recovering from his vocal cord surgery.
The I'm A Celebrity winner, 33, who was left unable to speak after the medical procedure, celebrated his voice coming back on Saturday but shared the past few days had been 'full on'.
The ex Made In Chelsea star posed for a beaming selfie as he told fans: 'I know it sounds crazy but that three days was actually super tough.'
He went on: 'I didn't realise how much I need to talk to get my emotions out and how much I need interaction with people.
'Probably just me being soft and also the adhd I imagine plays a factor but yeah was really quite full on.'
The actor-turned-podcaster endured the surgery to remove a cyst he previously said was caused by 'shouting too much.'
Sam Thompson, 33, admitted he had a few 'super tough' days as he took to Instagram on Saturday after undergoing a vocal cord surgery this week
The I'm A Celebrity winner, who was left unable to speak after the medical procedure, made the blunt admission on an Instagram story shared on Saturday
Taking to Instagram last week, Sam updated fans on how the procedure went.
Posting a selfie from home, he wrote: 'Day 1 of no speaking… I am so bored.
'Although I am LOVING seeing all the cat memes you're sending!!'
It comes after Sam also shared clips in his hospital gown to his Instagram Story ahead of the procedure.
Talking to the camera he said: 'I'm having vocal cord surgery - this has been in the diary for a while, I had a cyst on my vocal cords.
'It's because I talk to much and shout too loudly and I keep losing my voice really easily.
'So yeah they are cutting it out, they are putting me to sleep, I've never been put to sleep before. I'm a bit nervous, I don't like not being in control.'
He then joked that his sister Louise was picking him up after the surgery even though he is 33 years old.

Louise herself then took to her Story as she went to pick him up as she shared he isn't able to talk for three days after the procedure which she said he would find hard due to his playful and talkative nature.
The surgery comes after earlier this month Sam shared his Valentine's Day plans with girlfriend Talitha Balinska after his hopes of taking her on a romantic ski trip were dashed.
He started dating the model in September after his split from Zara McDermott in 2024.
Last month Sam took the romance to the next level as he confessed he had told Talitha he loved her for the first time.
And on a recent episode of his podcast Staying Relevant, Sam opened up to best pal Pete Wicks about his 'nerves' ahead of his first Valentine's Day with Talitha and discussed his plans for the big day.
Sam shared his low-key vision of the day as he revealed he hopes to hand deliver her a thoughtful card with roses before cooking her a dinner at home with wine.
The Valentine's plans came after his hopes to jet Talitha off on a romantic ski-ing trip, which he revealed in a previous podcast episode, fell through due to work commitments.
'I don't really want to do presents if I'm honest,' Sam said. 'I just feel like Valentine's shouldn't be about that. I think roses, not excessive because it becomes a bit tacky, but I think a nice amount.
'Red roses, or maybe a bit of mixed actually white and a red, two dozen.'
