The winner, 33, who was left unable to speak after the medical procedure, celebrated his voice coming back on Saturday but shared the past few days had been 'full on'.
The ex star posed for a beaming selfie as he told fans: 'I know it sounds crazy but that three days was actually super tough.'
He went on: 'I didn't realise how much I need to talk to get my emotions out and how much I need interaction with people.
'Probably just me being soft and also the I imagine plays a factor but yeah was really quite full on.'
The actor-turned-podcaster endured the surgery to remove a cyst he previously said was caused by 'shouting too much.'

Taking to Instagram last week, Sam updated fans on how the procedure went.
Posting a selfie from home, he wrote: 'Day 1 of no speaking… I am so bored.
'Although I am LOVING seeing all the cat memes you're sending!!'
It comes after Sam also shared clips in his hospital gown to his Instagram Story ahead of the procedure.

Talking to the camera he said: 'I'm having vocal cord surgery - this has been in the diary for a while, I had a cyst on my vocal cords.
'It's because I talk to much and shout too loudly and I keep losing my voice really easily.
'So yeah they are cutting it out, they are putting me to sleep, I've never been put to sleep before. I'm a bit nervous, I don't like not being in control.'
He then joked that his sister Louise was picking him up after the surgery even though he is 33 years old.
