Sam Thompson has revealed how he and girlfriend Zara McDermott speak about marriage ‘a lot’ but they are in ‘no rush’ to walk down the aisle.
The I’m A Celeb winner, 31, who has been dating the stunning Strictly star, 27, since 2019, did however admit he’s splashed out a pricey Cartier ring.
But Zara wasn’t the lucky recipient, instead he treated close pal Pete Wicks, 36, as a thank for supporting Sam down under during his time in the ITV jungle.
Telling The Sun: ‘I bought Pete a Cartier ring, because he’s just done so much for me’.
Speaking about his and Zara’s future he told the publication: ‘I’m so happy being with the person I know I’m going to spend the rest of my life with, I don’t see any sort of rush at all’.

‘We speak about marriage a lot, but there’s no pressure to put a ring on it.’
Zara previously revealed Sam opted for Pete to join him in Australia despite her being available after her elimination from Strictly Come Dancing meaning she was free.
The influencer told Fleur East on the Hits Radio Breakfast Show: ‘When I left Strictly I was like ‘Shall I pack my case?’ and he went ‘Oh no it’s already been arranged Pete is coming’.’
She continued: ‘When I suggested maybe Pete and I could both go, he said, ‘No, just Pete!’ Maybe I can get Pete to take a cardboard cut-out of me … But you know what it’s fine, absolutely fine.
‘I’ve got all the time in the world to live with him and see him. If he wants Pete at the end of that bridge I respect and appreciate that – also I can’t wait to see that hug!’.
It comes after Sam reunited with Marvin Humes five weeks on from I’m A Celebrity as he paid a visit to the JLS singer’s office on Tuesday.
Sam was delighted to see his pal, 38, and pulled him in for a long hug as he talked about how much he missed him.
Afterwards, the duo decided to FaceTime Marvin’s wife Rochelle, where Sam pleaded to do a double date with his girlfriend Zara.
Speaking about his and Zara’s future he went on to say: ‘I’m so happy being with the person I know I’m going to spend the rest of my life with, I don’t see any sort of rush at all’.
Adding: ‘We speak about marriage a lot, but there’s no pressure to put a ring on it’
Sam said: ‘I bought Pete a Cartier ring, because he’s just done so much for me’.
Sam asked Rochelle: ‘Can we go for a double date, please? That’d be really cool, I’d really enjoy it’ to which she replied: ‘Yes, give Marv some dates’.
The television personality also shared a snap of Marvin giving him a piggyback and wrote: ‘After 5 weeks apart… Axwell and Murph 2: The Reunion.’
Marvin replied: ‘Love you brother..today was like Christmas Day’.
Their I’m A Celebrity campmate Tony Bellew wrote: ‘Now this has made me smile’.
Another fan joked: ‘Pete dislikes this.’

Meanwhile Sam recently landed a red carpet presenting role for ITV for the National Television Awards with his best pal Pete Wicks.
Sam and Pete will host the official NTA content for all its social media channels and will give viewers a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes on the night.
The Staying Relevant podcast stars, who first met on Celebs Go Dating in 2019, will film the NTA content live from London’s O2 Arena on September 11.
