Sam Aston announces fourth child on ultrasound reveal!

 star  has revealed wife Briony is pregnant with their fourth child. 

The actor, 32, already a parent to son Sonny, five, and daughters, Daisy, four, and Hazel, two, with Briony, confirmed the pregnancy with social media followers on Thursday.  

Breaking the news, the couple shared a video of their children being dragged across the floor by their father, with Hazel holding the unborn child's first ultrasound pictures.

Captioning the post, they wrote: 'Here we go again... Baby Aston #4.' 

A tree emoji was added to the end of the post, suggesting Briony will give birth over the festive period.

Social media followers subsequently showered the couple with congratulatory messages, with one commenting: 'What a great way to announce it. Congratulations to you both.'

A second added: 'Oh my goodness this is soooo exciting!!! Congratulations [sic],' while a third wrote: 'Aww amazing massive congratulations to you all [sic].'

Briony works as a birth doula, a non-medical professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to expectant parents during pregnancy, labour, and postpartum. 

Following her own pregnancy announcement, she confirmed her work commitments would be pared back ahead of the birth. 

She told Instagram followers: 'Now we've announced our news to the world, you can see why I've closed my books for mid-October onwards for in-person doula support.

'I've been at a couple of births whilst heavily pregnant in the past, and I've found it's just not practical with a huge bump, plus I'll need some time to protect my headspace in the lead up to my own birth.

'Doulas need to birth prep too!'

The couple married in May 2019 on Stock Farm, a stunning venue located on the edge of Tatton Park, Cheshire. 

Briony welcomed eldest child Sonny six weeks prematurely in 2020, with Sam revealing his wife while their baby son recovered from jaundice.

The actor, best known for his role as Chesney Brown on Coronation Street, told OK!: 'It was a bit of a shock for me. Everyone at work knew he wasn't due until September.

Briony added: 'It was hard at the time but looking back now I'd do it all again tomorrow. It was so nice to get home though.'

Their situation was made even more difficult due to the fact that Sam was only allowed to visit the pair in hospital for one hour a day due to the pandemic.

He explained: 'An hour felt like 10 minutes, especially early on as Briony was emotional as I was trying to be there and spend time with Sonny.'

Briony added that having time constraints on their time together was the most 'stressful' part and that she would usually 'sob for an hour' and then Sam would have to leave.
