Sadie Frost Spotted with Musician Who Resembles Ex

was spotted with musician Ed Laurie as the pair enjoyed a low-key pub outing at The Lansdowne Pub in Primrose Hill on Wednesday. 

The actress, 60, who shares daughter with her former husband , appeared in great spirits as they laughed together and she affectionately reached for his hand.  

Keeping it casual for the lunch, Sadie opted for a simple purple top and dark jacket, while Ed wore a black T-shirt and light blue jeans. 

Ed resembles Sadie's ex Darren Strowger, who she dated on-off relationship for eight years until they called it quits in 2021. 

She told Stella Magazine at the time: 'I’ve decided to spend time on my own because of all my life changes, because of work, and the house. I want to live the life I want to live.' 

'Maybe it sounds incredibly selfish, but my kids are finally [at an age where] I don’t have to worry about them – and I’m on a mission for me.'

'I’ve been in relationships for a long time and I’m quite happy being on my own right now. It feels really good,' she said.

She said she is on good terms with both her ex husbands, and has focused on co-parenting effectively.

She described the break up as 'amicable' and without 'drama or stress', admitting that she wanted to take time for herself.

She and Darren met through their supermodel mutual friend Kate, and despite enduring a long-term relationship, never fully moved in together - with Sadie explaining that she likes her own space.

While they have been seen at events on and off over the years, back in April 2024 she confirmed she was single after she confessed she had reassessed the qualities she looks for in men. 

She told The Times: 'Yeah, yeah [I'm single]. But I think my choices in men are better now. Like, [a boyfriend now has to be] somebody that’s done work on themselves, someone who’s not all about the external and doesn’t always have something to prove.

'Someone who doesn’t always think they’re right.'

She's known for keeping close relationships with ex-partners - including former husbands Jude Law and Gary Kemp.

Sadie shares children Rafferty, 29, Iris, 25, and Rudy Law, 23 with ex Jude, who she was married to between 1997 and 2003 - after leaving Gary for him.

In December Sadie hit back at claims her children are prime examples of 'nepo babies', insisting their success has nothing to do with their famous connections.

Eldest son Finlay, 35, has followed in the footsteps of his father Spandau Ballet star Gary - who Sadie was married to from 1988 to 1995 - by pursuing a career in music.

And her two sons have also attempted to emulate their Hollywood dad Jude with forays into acting.

While Sadie and Jude's daughter Iris has found great success in the world of modelling, appearing in a slew of runway shows and campaigns and also dabbling in the world of acting.

However, their filmmaker mother has blasted accusations that her kids deserve the 'nepo baby' label, insisting that they have earned their success by 'working hard' and not through their famous last names.

And despite growing up surrounded by the likes of the Gallaghers, Ewan McGregor, Rhys Ifans and Jonny Lee Miller and counting Kate Moss and Nick Grimshaw among their star-studded godparents, Sadie denied they benefitted from these connections.

She told Hannah Harley on the Crazy Sexy Food podcast: 'I haven't had friends of friends give them jobs and things like that. They've had to audition and work hard.'

'I always taught them to be driven, whatever they did, but get educated – go to music college, go to university'.
