The Intercontinental Maldives is located in the Raa Atoll, a 35-minute seaplane ride from Malé, and is famed for the many aquatic adventures available to guests.
Divers can submerge themselves pristine water and fast flowing channels in the company of nurse sharks the size of people carriers, while snorkellers can float across soft coral gardens alongside green sea turtles and blizzards of reef fish.
Baby manta rays frolic in the coral reefs surrounding the resort, while villas have a cool contemporary Maldivian design, and every guest is entitled to complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, evening aperitifs and soft drinks throughout the day.

The presenter – who is also a mum to Alaia-Mai, 11, Valentina, seven – said planning ahead and taking time out for self care has helped her be a better parent.
She told Mother & Baby: ‘I just think when things get overwhelming, you just have to try and find time to take care of yourself in all of that.
‘I do as much as I can the night before.
‘That’s just little things just to make me feel like I’m halfway there.
‘So whether that’s laying out the kids uniforms, or filling up their water bottles because that’s one thing down for the morning or even laying out my own outfit.’
