Robert Irwin has announced he will co-host I’m A Celebrity alongside Julia Morris.
The 19-year-old wildlife warrior will stand alongside the comedian for the upcoming 2024 season of the reality show, replacing Dr Chris Brown.
Speaking to the Herald Sun ahead of Channel 10’s Upfronts, Robert couldn’t contain his excitement for the new role.
‘This just feels like it was meant to be,’ he told the publication.
It isn’t the first time Robert has appeared in the jungle. In 2016, the photographer appeared as a guest on the show alongside his mum, Terri, and sister Bindi.

He admitted he’s been a ‘massive fan of the show’ every since.
‘I was knee-high to a grasshopper and had the bowl cut,’ he recalled.
‘I loved so much getting to do that show.’
Robert was tipped for the role back in September, according to TV Blackbox’s ‘trusted sources’.

In August, Morris told Yahoo Lifestyle! last month that the show will go in a ‘completely different way’ following the departure of her co-host Brown after they shared the screen for almost a decade.
Brown left Channel 10 for more onscreen opportunities at rival Seven.
Morris explained that she’s testing her ‘chemistry’ with six potential candidates and the selection will change the dynamic.
‘I’m going to have to leave everything of the past behind,’ the 55-year-old told the publication at the time.
