She is a stepmother his daughters Te Kāinga o te Hinekāhu, 13, and Matewa Kiritapu, nine.
Their outing together comes days after they enjoyed a day on the beach as Rita once again showed off her abs.
Rita previously shared an insight into her marriage last year, saying: 'Taika and I are basically just best friends and we wanted to just live in that element forever, I guess.'
After years of not being in the right relationship during her 'messy twenties', Rita said that when she got together with Taika it felt 'right and safe'. The pair started dating in March 2021, before going public with their romance that August.

Speaking to The Sun, Rita said: 'I’ve tried my best to remember that when I’m thinking: "Oh, gosh, I’m not the exact weight I want to be," that all of that stuff is not real, what’s real is how you show up.
Acknowledging that some may dismiss her comments, she added: 'I know when people read this they’ll say: "Well, that’s easy for you to say because you look a certain way," but I don’t always feel a certain way. I think that’s something to remember.'
With pressure around appearance running deep in the music industry, Rita credited therapy with helping her shift her mindset.
She said: 'I’ve just stopped honestly caring about what other people think. I’ve started to do more therapy and it’s all been my process. I tell my fans: "Don’t worry if you haven’t got it figured out yet. No one has."
