's security team had been aware of threats against the singer before the at her Beverly Hills home on Sunday, according to insiders who said the mother-of-three was left so 'shell shocked' she is now considering relocating her family. 

The Fenty businesswoman, 38, was at the $13.8million property when 35-year-old Ivanna Ortiz on the home. Ortiz, a resident, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Rihanna's partner , 37, was not believed to be at home during the attack, and it remains unclear if the couple's three children – sons RZA, three, Riot, two, and daughter Rocki, five months – were inside at the time.

'Rihanna is absolutely shell shocked by the shooting and has evacuated with the kids,' a source told the Daily Mail. 'She is confused and devastated by the attack on her home, and is working with law enforcement to figure out what happened.'

Rihanna left  from Van Nuys Private Airport on Monday. A small motorcade of SUVs were pictured arriving at the terminal as the singer made her getaway following the shocking incident.

She is now weighing up her options and could quit the US for London, with her fears compounded by a string of local celebrity incidents, including the 2021 - mother-in-law of  boss Ted Sarandos - in her Beverly Hills home.

Evidence of the terrifying attack on Rihanna's home was visible on the exterior of the property, where several impact marks that looked like bullet holes were seen on a wall.

The Fenty Beauty founder purchased the stunning home, featuring an open-air courtyard and pool, just across the street from Sir Paul McCartney, in 2021. 

Ortiz, who is the main suspect, is being held on a $10.2million bail.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspect let off multiple shots at the address from her vehicle. Nobody was injured.

Radio dispatch for the incident said that at least ten shots rang out from the white Tesla before the driver fled.

As police started hunting for the vehicle, details were relayed over the radio, describing the woman as having her hair in braids and wearing a cream blouse.

Her vehicle was also described as being dirty on the bottom, with a police helicopter soon catching sight of it in a parking lot in Sherman Oaks where she was arrested.

The LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Division is investigating the incident, police confirmed. A possible motive was not immediately clear.

'Her team are proactive in making sure she is safe,' they said. 'The relevant authorities are now looking into all threats on high visible social media platforms like X and others like Telegram. 

'There was an incident a few years ago where a fan turned up outside a house she was vacationing in demanding to see her, so this shooting has understandably triggered some anxiety.' 

Ortiz, who is a Christian influencer and a former pageant queen, made a disturbing threat to the pop star online just days before the shooting. 

The Daily Mail has reached out to Rihanna's representatives for comment.
