And Adam has continued to show his allegiance to his in-laws, notably with a tribute in his engagement speech. 

After gushing over his now-wife Holly, Adam turned his attention to Gordon as he welled up with tears, saying: 'Gordon, thank you for . I was just delaying that as I was about to cry.'

And it is clear the feeling is mutual, with Gordon describing Adam as 'so grounded'.

Last year, Adam's mother Caroline was left devastated when she was disinvited to his wedding amid an explosive fallout between the families - and Adam has continued to show his allegiance to his in-laws (Adam pictured with Gordon with his mum Caroline to the right)

'He's not walking around as an Olympic champion with his head up his a**e. He's my type of guy.' 

Commenting on Adam and dad's relationship, Holly added: 'You get on with everyone but it's so nice seeing how well you and dad get on.'

Elsewhere in the clip Adam broke down in tears as he said of Holly: 'I'm so thankful to you for loving me and believing in me. 

'I'm so thankful to you for loving me and believing in me. You are the most beautiful person inside and out. Oh I'm gonna go... [wells up].

'I couldn't think of a better partner to battle and enjoy life with. We will face moments of hard times - oh I'm going - but also have a life full of love children and happiness. 

'So with that in mind, before I cry too much, I'm going to cut most of the speech off.' 

Meanwhile, Gordon began his speech by stating: 'I couldn't be happier to welcome Adam and George into the Ramsay family. Are you mad?

'Holly is everything you want in an amazing woman and if this is just a little insight into how cool your lives are going to be forward on behalf of Tana and I and the entire Ramsay family we wish you all the best and we couldn't be prouder.' 

After gushing over his now-wife Holly, Adam turned his attention to Gordon as he welled up with tears, saying: 'Gordon, thank you for trusting me with your peaceful daughter'

Elsewhere in the clip Adam broke down in tears as he said of Holly: 'I'm so thankful to you for loving me and believing in me'

In the new Netflix series, cracks between Adam and Holly's families are shown, with Gordon seen emphasising the importance of 'creating family' during his speech at the party, which took place in 2024.

Gordon was filmed saying: 'The most important family is the one you create and she [Holly] so its now her time to create her own family. It is quite a moment.' 

Adam's mum Caroline was filmed watching on as Gordon made his speech inside the chef's Bread Street Kitchen restaurant. 

She was also seen embracing Holly in another scene. 

It was previously revealed that Caroline, 60, would still feature in the new series of Being Gordon Ramsay despite formally requesting to be edited out from the final cut.

A source close to Caroline previously revealed she had written to Netflix producers to say she was not asked for her consent to be filmed for Gordon's show, and given what had happened, did not want to feature. 

And while she isn't shown face on, the shot captures one of her final sweet moments with her daughter-in-law to be before it all turned desperately sour.

Caroline has been at the heart of a feud with the Ramsays, with saw the entire Peaty family - other than Adam's sister Bethany - attend the wedding. 

Adam has since come under fire from his working class family members, who have accused him of being seduced by the wealth and fame of the Ramsay family.

The Olympic swimmer made his allegiance clear in the Netflix series, which was released on Wednesday, as he gushed over his love for Gordon, but failed to mention his own family.

He told cameras: 'I think when you are marrying someone you are also marrying into the family and for me Gordon is very fair, very respectful but also loves a good joke. We're very similar.'
